In todays video, we head to the stream in search of trout. Brook trout and rainbows are the target. This is the first time i have every stream fished for trout and man was it a hoot to get out of my comfort zone and put on a smack down for you. Hope you enjoy and tight lines! Also these views are amazing!

thats an awesome tip about unhooking your line from a jerkbait. Im going to have to use that soon. I fish jerkbaits all summer long for river smallies in heavy current. I prefer to use braid and rip it as hard as I can over and over again really quickly. It feels crazy when you suddenly put it through a fishes face

It will save you a lot of baits i can promise you that! Just gotta be at the right angle and it works everytime

I also enjoy listening to nature. Also, there’s quite a few bears in BC that fish the river as well, So it’s best to be in alert to avoid confrontation. Heavy fishing reg’s in my area all baitless barbless single hook. It’s a stiff challenge.

dang yeah that sounds rugged! those bears love the same rivers that we do. I've heard the more bears the better the fishing

Trout have a slime layer that protects them. That’s why they are so hard to hold. A dry hand removes the slime easier. A rubber net keeps them safer! Great video b rock!
