Nice you're getting the hang of this! I believe friendly fire is only on higher difficulties so you don't need to worry about shooting or blowing up your allies. Also you're able to select which character to move, you don't have to go down in the order it starts you on (i think its the bumpers, the same way you select which target to shoot at when multiple are available). And Jack's Wingman ability only works on that turn so it's best to pre-apply it before shooting or on a unit using overwatch at the end. Keep up the great work!

interesting fact: echo five chronologically first get mentioned in this game but thye then appear in RAAM's Shadow 10 years after E-Day and that is when they die. Kim reports them as KIA to and Anya said "they were a good unit." :( also i think hunkered means dug in...like when you dig in and aim at someone...i think humans use it too.

Yay! I wasn't sure you were gonna get here, but glad you did MOAR fun facts with Derek! But I'll try to refrain from repeating what others are saying I believe the grenade has a "plant mine" option, if you were to use that ontop of an E-hole before it opens, then it'll explode when it does, stopping ALL enemies from coming out of it You gotta be careful with wretches and grenadiers this time around, their whole thing is to get in close as soon as they possibly can and make it hard for you to get away when they get there, the movement line being red means that your guys will be taking damage by moving And don't forget that heavies gotta stay in one place for as long as possible, this would mean sometimes it's just more worth it to not bring them along, especially if you know you gotta move a lot, that said I'd still recommend bringing at least one whenever you can bring 4

11:45 You can change which person you're controlling at any time by pressing the left or right shoulder buttons, LB or RB, you don't have to use them in set order. In fact who you use and what order you use your people in, is a big part of the tactics.

Ok so i'm going to give you the main "new character" run down as usual but without any spoilers: Gabe Diaz: Father of Kait Diaz, brother of Oscar Diaz, after the events of this game Gabe went on to fight as an Outsider but sadly he eventually died of Rustlung (which i think was mentioned in Gear 4 or 5). Sid Redburn: Sid is an old war veteran and fairly important to the story of this game, he is familiar with the Locust in a way you will look forward to hearing about. Mikayla Dorn: Mikayla is a stranded leader and skilled sniper, she may not much like the COG but she wants the Locust dead too. Reyna Torres: Later known as Reyna Diaz...this is Gabe's future wife but at this point in tiem they hardly know each other and only fighting together for a similar cause. Tyrone Shepard: A member of Echo Five and heavy Gear. Marcella Trinh: A member of Echo Five and a scout. all other new Gears introduced are randomised so they don't really have actual links to the story (because they change name and appearance every time you play through the game). Ukkon: General Ukkon is the Locust's chief geneticist...he is the one who helped create the monsters the Locust use. (Along with Karn, RAAM and Skorge he is one of the four Generals) I hope you enjoy this even though it is a little different in gameplay wise...have fun. if you aren't sure how to do something feel free to ask.
