Adele has such a beautiful, pure voice. So glad you like her. I pray for peace for you, sir. We all carry old hurts and scars. Some are just more difficult to deal with than others. Take care, my friend.

Time doesn’t heal. It just allows you to cope more effectively! Those that leave us take a bit of our hearts with them. We always have a gap in the place they used to be, and hopefully we become what we love most about those we miss! 💙💜

Many of her songs are about break-ups and broken hearts. Adele has joked that she has to break up with someone in order to write her next song. She is a legend with a peerless talent.

This song is amazing! I got married when I was in my early 20’s, then left and moved far away. We both had lives with other people. I had children with another, raised them, sent them off to college and then talked to him again. 26 years apart, and this song was my song to him. I still loved him and found out that he felt the same about me. We grew from our mistakes and appreciated what we didn’t the first time around. I love this song!

This is one of those songs whose lyrics seems so generic until you've lived that story. And then it's terribly, painfully relevant, isn't it? I'm glad that your story ended well.

The emotion she projects if unbelievable. Her songs touch all of us because we've all been there, felt that heartache, that deep emptiness that you know you'll never get over. Yes time passes and the pain dulls but it's never Really gone. So many small things trigger those long buried feelings that rush white hot to the surface and bring that pain back.

Some of the things that happen in our lives are traumatic. It can take years for adults to find ways to deal with them, so they are even harder for a child to process, and things that happen in your life, bring it all back into your mind. Don't expect it all to go away anytime soon, a murder of someone you know, can give you PTSD. Really traumatic events can stay with you for life, even if you really hate that it ever happened, so all you want is to forget everything about it.

It's natural. There's nothing wrong with you, pain will always hurt. It hurts less often, but when it comes back, it's still strong. That's ok, you don't want to forget. It's the price we pay for loving, for being alive, for loss. You are right, pain is what gives Adele her songs.

I remember hearing people going on and on about,Adele, before i had heard her and thinking, she can't be that good. Then i saw her before i heard her. and sadly enough my thought was,not a good thought ,but a realistic one,to be honest, the thought was ;being her size (we all know how that works) she must be amazing. She did not disappoint. I hate that but I was watching this season of american idol and they have this one girl who is unbelievable but she doesn't fit the mold. Adele broke thru that, and thats not easy to do.

The underlying structure of this song is so simple, but the choice of the piano gives it weight, and it becomes this great platform for her voice. You can tell that she has a real connection to what she's singing, and that's kind of the essence of what music is supposed to be.

Thank you for the upload.
