All the songs on the album ("The Dark Side Of The Moon") segue into each other, so there are no sudden breaks (except between the next one after "Time", "The Great Gig In The Sky", and "Money" where we had to flip the vinyl over). The album should be listened to as a whole as it's a concept album and designed to be heard that way (Floyd were an album, not a singles, band). Cheers.

Make yourself comfortable, in a dark room, with good headphones, and listen to this entire album without interruptions. It's an experience that leaves no one indifferent. In fact, it's the best way to listen to Pink Floyd.

@@sergreacts You have the studio version up, which is the proper version to listen to first... But now you have to, for your own sake, watch their live performance of it from their 1994 Pulse tour. And it is definitely 1 solo you do not want to pause, it's widely known as the best live guitar solo performed by anyone, ever. The visuals on top of the music is second to none.

If you only have 1 earpiece in here bud, you've literally just missed half the song. Pink Floyd are famous for using stereo to it's max, they have parts of the songs playing from different sides, sometimes fading from 1 side to the other. It really does need to be experienced as it as intended.

For people that love listening to Pink Floyd, having "Floyd Fridays" is a great tradition to have. My high school art teacher would only have Pink Floyd music playing on Fridays.

Headphones, headphones, headphones. Did I mention, headphones? Pink Floyd use stereo, and the doppler effect as well as quadrophonics and holophonics to the fullest extend. Not using headphones, you are missing a bunch of effects and even some instruments set to only one channel. Oh and don't forget, use HEADPHONES!!!....;)

If you check out comfortably numb, do yourself and every one of your viewers a service and check live version, it blows the studio version which is already excellent out of the water. Live at Pulse 1994 contains what most people considered the best guitar solo of all time. Trust me it'll change your life. Then you need to check Wish you were here, Shine on you crazy diamond, Dogs, Pigs, Sheep from the Animals album, Hey you, Mother, Another brick in the wall, Sorrow and High Hopes, both live at Pulse. If you want to do it justice you kinda gotta do the full album. (have the lyrics to hand) Roger Waters always has a deep truth in his poetry. Dave Gilmours guitar will melt your brain and tracks like "Great Gig in the Sky" will touch your soul!
