Not enough gets said about this but Freddie is really graceful. A natural dancer. There are also a lot of things he does when he's singing live - physical movements that really show he's using his entire body to sing. The way he plants his feet and relaxes the upper part of his body and pulls a shoulder back - or even his smaller punches - bringing his arm upward as he sings a held note and then all the way extended up as he finishes. All of those things have a purpose. He probably just does it instinctively but what it does is move the body into a position where he has a lot of control and that sound reverberates beautifully. That sounds crazy but its a real thing - even if we don't always know exactly how it works when we are doing it. Lucky that he's also naturally graceful so it looks great too.

This song was written by Roger Taylor for the Highlander movie soundtrack back in 1986 starring Sean Connery, Christopher Lambert, and Clancy Brown. Definitely worth a watch! Anyway, you can see that the Wembley two-night concert was pretty epic!! Who Wants To Live Forever from this same concert is another song from the movie soundtrack written by that “tall drink of water” Dr. Brian May! 🥰😍😘

If you like the music by Queen. You might want to try listening to some of stuff by Freddie Mercury such as the duet he did with Spanish opera singer Monserrat Caballe for the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona (Barcelona was the title of their song). Freddie Mercury also dis sone solo tracks such Living on my Own radio mix, The Great Pretender and Love Kills.

Freddie had a lot of vocal power in 86, I remember that his nodules gave a lot of weight to his performances in fact in the second night of Wembley maybe he was in more optimal conditions than what you are looking at now. That man on his 86 tour really battled a big throat problem. His voice in the high notes had worsened, but he had recovered a lot in amplitude of voice in fact Roger the drummer gave support to Freddie in some phases of the concert.

That is highly debatable. Freddie was sick at Wembley. The whole 1986 Magic tour was actually a very good tour vocally, for Freddie, it was one of Queen's best tours. Something people don't realize is that Freddie sang higher in the 80's then in the 70's. Male voices naturally gain more weight and lower frequencies as they age, it is a well known fact in opera. In opera, they don't use Heldontenors, Dramatic Tenors and often Spinto Tenors that are younger then 40 years, because their voices are often undeveloped before that age. These types of heavier and more powerful voices often needs time to develop. Nodules does not change or influence the power of your voice. (Most tenors would actually often like more powerful voices in general). It is also debatable if Freddie actually had nodules, there are conflicting reports. Having a strong and powerful voice is not some determent, this voice type is much more rare then Lyrics Tenors. It is a voice that also sounds lower then what the singer is actually singing. If you are interested check out Franco Corelli (Dramatic Spinto) in his younger years around age 35, search for (Recondita Armonia - Franco Corelli Very Young). Compare that with, (Franco Corelli Recondita Armonia Audio HQ). I would like to post the links but KZbin would not allow that. This is a great example, because Freddie had the same voice type, this is the exact same aria or song with the exact same notes, it is just a few years apart. In the younger version his voice was not yet well developed. Listen to the big difference a few years made, it is really quite different. Freddie was always meant to have a big and powerful voice, it just took a few years to get there.
@RexorgenOnavi
@RexorgenOnavi 2 жыл бұрын
@@ZENOBlAmusic true, what you said is correct and the change in voice can already be heard from the 1987 recordings. the case of nodules Freddie has suffered from it since 1975 as from an interview with him he says that during the tour at least one evening dedicates her to the rest of the voice, the Magic tour in my opinion despite its immense beauty was heavy for Freddie, as you rightly said the disease was in its development.

Thank you for your wonderful react……you said you whant to react on others too. Wel try Prince he is fantastic in all ways too, and Freddie like him very wel. I dont think they ever met. But you can try Get off, Cream, Purple Rain ( of course ) When Doves cry, She’s always in my hair, Scandalous, Little red Corvet, Kiss, Somebody’s sombody that man could play 27+++ instrument his voice is incredible, he was 🔥 like hell, he had a very dark speaking voice look at interwiev with him. Him and Freddie was very much the same outside stage. Sky, kind, hardworking big sence of humor and very inteligent both Prince was only 5’2 tall but he had so big personality he used much make up, whent only in high hiled schoos what ever he should do. He do the split, and everything moving on stage him and Freddie was flexsibel in ich way. I recomend Prince high to you, you falling in love with him too 🤭❤️💜

You should react to Led Zeppelin Stairway To Heaven is a classic you should not miss or any Led Zeppelin or The Who songs. These are the backbone groups of rock and roll also Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin. I really love this performance of this song and I love Freddie's jacket. The audience loves this song.
