I appreciate how you don’t interrupt the playing of the video; you intersperse your thoughts on the screen; in this case followed by small hearts of sentiments and beautiful swaying !! Wonderful reaction !! So very beautiful in all that you do ! 😊

@@Aurora-tp3dy Not necessarily but also - KZbin is an uneven platform these days. Well established reactors even with being ultra careful have just this year alone had their own issues so, in some respects as I say with KZbin how it is these days, it can just be down to that.

I appreciate viewers who are considerate enough to think about how they have to pause to avoid copyright. Do some get away with it? Sure, sometimes, but not all the time. This isn't broadcast television. There's a skip button for those too impatient to sit through dialog.

Yes indeed. These "righteous" songs have a spiritual theme of loving, honoring and cherishing women. These spiritual marriage promises are placed by God in all women so that real men can fulfill the need that women crave. Rare songs like this strike an emotional cord that "strokes" that craving that men should fulfill in their women. Alas, so few men even know about this female need. Much less how to fulfill it today.

Nothing hurts like the loss of that special love & the words they use to describe that loss of feeling "No tenderness in your touch", "No welcome in your eyes" are so poignant & touching while the the words describing the pain of that loss "Something beautiful is dying", "Don't let our love slip away" express the hurt of knowing is is ending so well. Pure Music, Pure Magic & a piece of Heaven. Thanks for the reaction, love seeing people reacting for the first time to music l have loved for too many decades because just like the love in this song, the artist are slipping away. R.I.P Bobby Hatfield, we miss you but your music will live forever, thank you.

Fun story: My brother and I were at the 1999/2000 millennium New Years Eve celebration in downtown Phoenix. There were great bands playing everywhere.... Steppenwolf, Gin Blossoms and many more. Alice Cooper was also throwing a star studded party at his Cooperstown restaurant. The restaurant is located across the street from the Phoenix Suns arena. That night The Judds were also playing a concert at the arena. There was a lotta stuff happening all at the same time that night. My brother and I eventually our way over to Cooperstown and were standing outside listening to the great music being performed inside (we definitely couldn't afford the $200.00 to get in). We were out on the sidewalk listening and watching limos and luxury cars drop off celebrities going into Cooperstown when a chartered bus pulls up and out steps Bob Medley with an several guests. As he was making his way past us my brother noticed that The Judds were leaving the back of the arena in their limo. He shouts "Hey..Look it's The Judds!". Bill Medley stops dead in his track, spins around and start asking...Where?... Where?"...craning his neck to get a good look at them as they drove by. Even absolute legends can become star struck.

Rock and Roll bands usually had four or five guys and nothing else to fill out their sound. The Righteous Brothers started the "wall of sound" type of recording. They used orchestral arrangements, choir accompaniment, and synthesizers to stand that wall of sound right in front of your face. It was an evolution in Pop music that still goes on today. "You've Lost That Loving Feeling" was the most played song of the 20th Century according to Billboard.

This shows how good Bill's voice was too. Bobby's song was really Unchained Melody but Bobby only plays a bit part in this. Bill absolutely smacks this one out of the park. Each of them had a huge vocal range, but with them having at rest most of an octave between them they could cover a lot of territory.

Better late than never! The problem today is too much technology. Kids (anyone under 60) are trapped in a playlist on their handheld devices. They pick one song, and then artificial intelligence picks another that is very similar and recommends it. The AI picks are OK, but the unsuspecting listener is trapped in a silo...with no idea what happened or is happening in the outside world. ...And then, there's autotune. 😞

Thank you for another great reaction to one of my favourite groups. 1 posted this comment yesterday on another video, however in case you missed it, I’m reposting here too. Such an amazing talent that we are lucky to come across once in a generation. Another once in a generation talent is 16 years old Angelina Jordan from Norway. At the age of 6 and while travelling with her family in another country, she came across a shoeless girl who had a bathroom scale for people to weight themselves on in exchange for some coins. Angelina struck a conversation with that girl and without prompting from anyone in her family, she gave her shoes to the orphan girl. That evening she wrote about that encounter in her diary and vowed to always sing barefoot when doing that in public to remember that girl and to remind all of us about the many needy children around the world. 3 years later at the age of 9,she wrote and published a book about that encounter making her Norway’s youngest published author. She was interviewed on TV about her book during the week when it was released, but just before the interview she performed a short version of “Unchained Melody”. Here are the links to that interview and her performance. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYHJfq2Dmqd_mNE kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5SmfXePZaiGkJo I would very much appreciate if you react to both of these videos together. She will have a very positive impact on you. Angelina’s fans who she calls her Angels, will flood your channel with subscriptions and comments. Thank you and keep up the good work from a new subscriber.

"They have the perfect name" That's how they got the name. Wikipedia says, they took the name Righteous Brothers for the duo because black Marines from the El Toro Marine base started calling them "righteous brothers". At the end of a performance, a black U.S. Marine in the audience would shout, "That was righteous, brothers!", and would greet them with "Hey righteous brothers, how you doin'?" on meeting them.

When The Righteous Brothers were releasing these wonderful recordings, we relied mostly on AM radio to learn about new performers. There's a great story about the early days of their career before they became a major act. They performed wherever they could get paid, and this included the nightclub circuit in southern California. Once they were booked, sight unseen, by the owner of a black night club. When two skinny white guys showed up, the owner almost fainted -- he booked them because they had so much soul in their voices that he assumed they HAD to be black! He was in a quandary. There wasn't time to find a more suitable act, so he took a chance. They assured him they would make his patrons happy, and by the time they were done, the audience gave them a standing ovation!
