2:56 That's the Rafflesia 3:00 That's a Hornbill 3:04 And that's the Hibiscus and yes it is the national flower 23:56 Yeah you'd wanna come early, like waaay early cause EVERYONE wants to go to the beach during sunset. The locals, tourists, vendors, you name it, everyone goes. And the place can get pretty crowded too and the whole place can look hectic sometimes but if you don't mind any of that, the sunset is still worth it (unless it's raining..).

idk which "we" you're referring to, maybe just your circle or only a certain race. but most people say terima kasih if they're Malaysian and knows/speaks Malay, and especially if a foreigner is being polite and try to say it too. some people make it cuter and baby-talk-ish like "maceh~"

Meanwhile, here in west sabah i only hear "Thank you" or Pounsikou, yet in KK, Tuaran, Tamparuli, KB, Ranau, Kgau, Tambunan, Tenom, Beaufort, Sipitang, KM, will say this word doesn't matter what race they are. Frankly, Bahasa Melayu is not my first language nor 2nd. ill be using my native tongue to speak at home and english outside and some Sabah Language.

Laksa is a Malaysian dish. There are some 13-14 types of Laksa in Malaysia. The Singapore Laksa is a version of the Melaka Nyonya Laksa in Central Malaysia. Malaysians normally say, Kasih for short. Makasih is mostly Indonesian ✌️😊

In Malaysia, we using alphabet and number for some durian. Eg D1, D13,D24, D101, XO.. the rest you will hear people would say "musang king, blackthorn, red prawn, tekka, kampung"..just to name few.

I mentioned it in the video but I only waited 5-10 minutes and they take your order during the queue so the food is ready as soon as you sit down. I usually never wait for food but this was worth it 🙌🏻

I am not surprised that you met locals who speak korean. 1. Because malaysians are polyglots. We can speak between 3 to 7 languages. 2. There are many koreans in kk as tourists. One vlogger joked that she was probably the last person from seoul that landed in kk. 3. There are direct flights to kk from south korea. Incheon to kk.

before others get a wrong impression, its just best to be super clear that those animals dogs cats etc are sold as pets. and certainly NOT for food / meat consumption 🤭

Thank you for your comment. I think it’s clear that they are being sold as pets but I believe they shouldn’t be. It’s a long term commitment that requires a lot of responsibilities and you shouldn’t be allowed to easily “purchase” them at the market. They should adopt them at an adoption/rescue center or through a licensed breeder (not a pet shop where they get their litters from pet “factories”). Potential pet owners need to be vetted to ensure they can provide an adequate environment for the animals with all the essentials they require. Pets shouldn’t be bought on a whim because you saw them at the market and they are freaking adorable.
