I live close to the Beethovenhaus and I just don’t get all the tourists coming to visit it 😅 It’s so boring imho
@chrisbeckett9748 Жыл бұрын
@@ZoeAlecxis Well, I guess people go there because it's a historic landmark. The museum has many important artefacts from Beethoven's life on display such as his first harpsicord and Beethoven's hearing aid. Ok, it's frickin boring...apart from that, the man spent most of his life in Austria.

This brings back some memories! I went to Cologne in 2019 and went all the way up the cathedral as well. Also went down to the catacombs. It was awesome out of all the other churches / cathedrals, this one has been the best, in my opinion. Loved my trip to Germany.

10:30 Your camera is recording 60 frames per second (or a multiple 30, 120 Hz). The lights are flickering in the footage because our european power grid is not operated with 60 Hz (US-standard), but with 50 Hz. Flourescent light tubes and bulbs operate with this speed to. Our human eye cannot see, that the lights turn on and of 50 times a second. But your camera does. To avoid flickering in your recordings, you have to set your camera to a multiple of 50 frames per second (25, 50, 100).

We've once made a trip with our class to cologne and our teachers didn't want to go all the way up the kölner dom, but allowed all of the students to go up if they wanted to... just a second after they said that, all of the stoners in class were literally running up the stairs as fast as possible, to enjoy the view while smoking some joints at the top. It was great, i'll never forget it

i never really thought about it and was really amazed by modern cities and stuff when i was younger but when a friend visited my hometown and the city has those old buildings from 1800 but there are stores inside, my friend was blown away and said it looks like a town straight out of a medieval movie but crossover modern day society. as an adult now i can see that and appreciate it

Thank you for reminding me how beautiful it is to make it to the top of those stairs of the cathedral. I made the trip 4 times in my youth and it is beyond my health now, but it was just an inspiring reminder to enjoy the things we have right in front of us, friends, trains (tho late as can be) and ofc Döners. I can understand why many Germans fallow you, your low-key down to earth but genuine reactions are a delight, and makes me excited as well and giddy seeing you try new things. Never loose your drive to go on adventures!
