Few things : that’s the only terminal the airport has and up until a year back perhaps used to be the only international airport in Nepal .now there are few more. Secondly , those are not Chinese influenced buildings but those style of buildings are called pagoda style building which originated in Nepal and then from Nepal were taken to China,Japan and other countries by Nepali artists . Anyways welcome to Nepal 🙏🏽

@@worldnomac Yes, born in Kathmandu, the artist Araniko invented the pagoda style of architecture and later worked in the court of Emperor Kublai Khan in China where he designed buildings, temples and stupas. it's a proud Nepali fact that not many tourists are aware of. Many tourists say Nepali architecture looks Chinese or Japanese but they don't realise that it's the Chinese or Japanese architecture that looks like Nepali style. 😊

Great video brother. I love watching first time visit to Nepal vlogs as it reminds me of my first trip there back in 1982. I'm heading back next February for the 9th time for a 3 month stay. . I'd highly recommend, if possible and time permitting, you travel out of the cities to smaller villages, but especially recommend you do a trek - even a short 3 or 4 day trek. I did my first trek 5 years ago when I was 68 years old. It was in the Annapurna region to Ghorepani, Poon Hill, and Ghandruk (4 days) and it is still one of the highlights of my life. Btw, addressing a male as Bhai means younger brother. If the person is older than you, you should say Dai. For a younger female say Bahini and for an older female say Didi.
