I found the boys after the Case 143 video came out, and this has been such a fun first comeback to be a part of! I completely agree with you that (most of) our western artists have gotten extremely…complacent with where music got to in like, 2017. K-Pop as a whole just puts the entire American music industry to shame imo, and Stray Kids really do shine in such a galaxy of ridiculously talented people. The lyricism, the choreo, the production, and the LIVE PERFORMANCE is just on an entire other level. So excited for you to react to the rest of the album! 😊🫶🏻

Puts the entire "mainstream" American music industry to shame. The mainstream artists you know of are for people who listen to music casually, these songs are made for everyone. Catchy tunes to listen to in the car, at work, when working out, etc... It's why the more eccentric artists are so hidden. Think about it, America has a large population, the top 100 singers/rappers aren't even 1% of the industry. What makes Kpop so unique is it allows these eccentrics to grow because it focuses on performance and has multiple singers/rappers with different tones. And even if a certain group produces generally disliked music, with enough promotion, a good image, and consistent releases, it's possible to hit big. Stray kids were not welcomed with open arms when they debuted, their music too different from the norm. And yet, due to their fans content, performances, large discography, and so much more that I don't know, many people grew interested in them. Finding underground rappers or unknown singers that suits your style is so much harder, they don't have a lot of content, they don't release a lot of songs, and some aren't even on KZbin. This argument isn't even specific to the western music industry. Idol groups is just a completely different environment. Essentially what I'm getting at is that the Idol industry and the music industry are hard to compare, because everything, from promotions, content, demographic, and engagement is too different. Eccentric music gives you an edge in Kpop, whereas in the west, catchy pop songs are the way to fame and anything else requires luck.

hahahaha little Stay fetus Nigel you can go at your own pace. we will be there when you are ready to grow. I know how hard it is to catch up with all of Stray Kids content. There is so much and the list just keeps getting longer. Take your time and enjoy the ride. It is a full time job with all Stray Kids content when they usually have at least 3 -5 videos for each comeback, plus the interviews, the games, the skz codes, the skz talker, and so much more. I do have to tell you though this album is a masterpiece with so little mini gems. One of the best albums. I think when you are ready you will love DLC, FNF, Get Lit and even topline, but there is also the ones without videos that are perfect. all the tracks are 5 star. I'm not just saying that. I didn't think they could top the Oddinary album and comeback which was my favorite but they went so different and i am loving every minute of it. Buckle up your in for a wild drive... I mean ride. hahaha

Stray kids are truly special and in a lane of their own which is why I feel like I drifted towards them so much when I was first getting into them. I don’t wanna say I abandon bts because I most definitely did not I love them and will always appreciate them because they’re how I found out about kpop in general but I will say I pay more attention to skz. Fun fact the sparks/fireworks and all the pyro isnt CGI. They actually had fire shooting up from the ground (it was all heavily monitored and safely done ofc but still its impressive)

I absolutely love this mv. The way it was produced, edited, the visuals, the music, the dancing, the lyrics, the storyline, and everything is just absolutely incredible! Something I also find really cool about this mv is that there are multiple references to their past mvs. Such as ‘TOP’, ‘Gods Menu’, ‘District 9’, ‘Thunderous’, ‘My Pace’ and a few others. It’s just very fascinating seeing all of this come together and from what I’ve noticed it also kind of follows/ continues with the on going universe they created when they filmed the ‘Hellevator’ mv.

Loved watching your jaw drop! Before you go back to your STAY foetal development (which is awesome, by the way), it would not be cheating to watch a few S-CLASS related content vids. My personal faves are the STUDIO CHOOM version of S-CLASS because it really highlights the choreo; the S-CLASS RELAY DANCE because it is funny, but also CHANGBIN is absolutely incredible in the dance break; and lastly the Stray Kids [INTRO "★★★★★ (5-STAR)"] Part 2 : Dance Practice because it shows them practicing the choreo for this over 3 days which only adds to our appreciation of the huge amount of work that goes into every aspect of their songs. We'll watch them all with you if you choose to do that deeper S-CLASS dive. Go be shiny!

The beat changes in the song can be linked to the genre called “mixxpop”, which is basically just mixing two or more genres together in the same song. I can’t exactly say when the genre was formed, but the name “mixxpop” actually comes from the much newer JYP girl group called NMIXX, which debuted last year with the song “O.O”, which is a mix of baile funk, teen pop, and pop rock. NMIXX also popularised the genre, though many people are too intimidated to take it on. As for S-CLASS, I can only pinpoint hiphop (the small section after the first chorus) and the other genre I’m not sure. I like to call it “Stray Kids’ sound” however. I can’t wait to see your reaction to the rest of the album!! Especially Topline and Get Lit aha.

IT'S AMAZING‼️‼️ Also as a toddler stay of only 1 yr, I'd recommend trying to keep up with the current happenings rather than starting from the beginning, skz has wayyy too much content. S-class is definitely a S-class song and have a S-class MV . If you want to see how amazing this MV is you should watch the making of this vid. The sets, the fire, the everything is amazing kudos to the director and staff who made the MV. Also the whole album is amazing I feel like being a new stay you deserve to experience your 1st comeback I am new as well (6 months) and it was amazing hearing all their new songs and joining all the hype they deserve all the love and support for their new album. Still your decision though, i just feel like you are missing out. You can always go back to their other albums and songs nothing wrong with skipping.😁
