Han's lyrics are so beautiful when we translate them. Make you think a lot. How a person as that age can write like that. How a person with some kinda a problem can write like that. How a boy with that kind aa problem can rap with that kinda flow, unique and versatile rapping style. How can a boy with that kinda problem sing like that Beautiful and the high note insane. @anghamko4567 i have found a lot of artists, whether K-pop or any other genre. A lot of them have the same issues .. People discuss their issues in hopes that someone reading it with the same issues will realize that they are not the oddball or the only one with the issues but most importantly when they see their bias or other artist being siccessful with the same problems they will be inspired to know they can fulfill their dreams too and not to give up. That's why suga of BTS and other group members address similar issues publically . Hell, Jackson Wang admitted to having a nervous breakdown For months, in hopes of helping fans realize they are human and have the same problems . But with help, they can get better and go on .

Han might be one of the most interesting artist in the industry in my humble opinion. He shared that his dad used to/still is (not sure about it) in a rock band so he's always been around music growing up. He attended DEF Academy for rap, at JYP he took same classes as Chan and Changbin at music production and during his performance in Lee Mujin Service he casually said he's been working on his vocal, but nothing specific. The amount of talent in such tiny man is unreal, especially since there's not many baby photos of him due to frequent moves so it's a running joke that he just spawned on Earth at 13, found his way to JYP and as resident introvert got adopted by an extraverted husky (Chan) in 2015. I love this quokka so much and his mind amazes me more and more every time. I recommend watching INTROs to albums where they talk about ideas and mindsets behind songs. Before, it was like every strong vocal would automatically go to Woojin, and suddenly after he left we could hear more of Minho, of Chan, of Jeongin, soddenly Hyunjin gets to sing at all, Seungmin gets to BELT out his lines where with Woojin he'd be more of a secondary vocalist. Honestly same. One of my favourite lines he's written is in Alien when he talks about if he lets the depression win it will take his dreams too, and that he held on and he's proud of what he's achieved. He reminds me that 'happy endings' don't occur with everything magically fixed. You can live and achieve your dreams day by day, and the depression might not always be absent, the anxiety might pop up sometimes, but you can still live successfully and fully. For an introvert he lives very loudly and unapologetically, he doesn't hide his reactions or moods, his interests. He is dedicated and determined. I hope he and SKZ keep helping you find the joy in life, and I'll pray for your father

Interesting take! I think many of the BTS members are very talented but I find it curious that you seem to hold them as the standard. Obviously calling someone 'talented' can be a bit subjective based on metrics (who excels in a specialized skill vs who's the most all-rounded) but either way I'd argue Han is equal to or surpasses any of the BTS members. I know you weren't necessarily saying anything to the contrary, I just have a lot of thoughts on this subject and found your framing of BTS as the gold standard of talent in kpop interesting, as they are not known to excel vocally.
@hansreal-life-gf Жыл бұрын
@@shelby3174 hii so i didn’t necessarily mean to say bts is the standard but i feel like nobody really is THAT popular then bts. ofc in the vocal range there are some groups and even soloists that surpass them in some categories but when people think of kpop they think of bts. (and blackpink but i don’t stan them). and the reason i said stray kids is getting up to that level is because the bigger stray kids get the more recognition they get aswell. like i said im not really saying bts is the standard yk but they are the most popular group. nobody has ever went AS FAR as bts. this is my opinion so i don’t want anyone to hate on me. ofc bts isn’t the only amazing groups out there but they are definitely one of the best. now people say biggest doesn’t mean best and i agree. vocal wise a lot of group surpasses bts. rap wise i don’t think so just because bts has a very very VERY strong rap line. i might not be making sense but basically what i’m saying is han and stray kids does surpass bts in SOME categories, not all. i do love ur take tho!!

Han is probably the most relatable one for me. His lyrics & songs that he writes cut deep. Although he has such a bubbly & excitable nature he's actually a introvert. He's always far more comfortable & open with those that he's more familiar with. He has & had in the past issues with social anxiety (and I don't mean to over exaggerate or make it seem like something to be critical), he's had to take breaks from group activities due to it as well. The fact that stray kids is a family & is a comfort zone for him that supports him no matter what is beautiful. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to have a relationship like that. To answer some confusion near the end I don't believe it's that he was falling out of passion for music, it's more so an issue with self confidence in himself that he felt like he was going no where. He has said it himself that making music gets rid of the bad thoughts. If anything it's what allowed him to open up more & share the thoughts /feelings he wouldn't otherwise as a form of self expression. With his personality I think it's easy to see how he could have much self doubt to his own capabilities. Someone who is very conscious of the others around him. With that kind of anxiety comparisons between himself & others can form easily. It's why he had trouble taking breaks, he couldn't be satisfied at where he was. That in itself can be a good trait but I believe it took a great toll on him. As he worked harder he felt like he was being left behind thus felt very alone in a time where he needed self validation. He felt like he was trapped in the past as everyone else was moving to the future. At some point I believe he's been doing better but he does still have social anxiety. Sometimes with new comebacks I'm sure he gets overwhelmed as well as with promotions. His melodic style in music is very beautiful and really shows how talented he is as he sings & raps in his solo music. His solo music is where he really shows his thoughts & personal colors (although u can also see his talent in the songs he writes for the group he's more raw in his solo music). Some recommendations from Han (idk if you already have): "Alien" "Close" "Happy" "Wish you back" " I got it" ***Watch the color coded lyrics***

Han absolutely has the talent that makes him so good at everything, but I would also like to remind you that not only does he work on himself in his spare time, but before joining JYP Han went to the DEF Academy where he trained his rap, vocals and dancing before becoming a trainee. And it's also worth noting that Han still has social anxiety, which makes it difficult for him to be on stage every time, but he handles it so well that no one will ever guess his problem. What's more, he's just an excellent person, with a great sense of humor. Even though he's an introvert, he's a major mood maker in skz, which is just as surprising as his vocal, rapping and dancing abilities. He's not perfect, and he's always honest, even with his fans, and that's what makes us love him even more. I don't even know how to explain what kind of person he is, so complex and interesting. Like I know he kinda messed up on some other choreographies but his vocals, I don’t think I heard him getting a voice crack at all. (If there’s a video of him having a voice crack then lmk. I might missed out on something) You can tell how his vocals keeps getting better and better. For choreographies, I do feel like he sees the stage as his playground. The fact that he’s enjoying while performing especially during concerts, makes me so impressed of him. It’s like his voice and his body’s just warming up. i love this whole video, the only issue i'd say (if we were trying to be nitpicky) is the op calling Han an 'idol rapper'. He isn't an idol rapper, he's just a rapper point blank period. He was rapping far before becoming an idol or even joining a company. The fact he composes and writes his own raps too proves he's much more than just an 'idol rapper'. Idol rappers tend to only get given that position by the company and get their raps handed to them. Although all of skz contribute to the writing of their songs, a better example of an idol rapper in skz would be Hyunjin :) And as an update on the KOMCA credits 37:46 , 3Racha have now officially become full members on komca! They are the first 4th gen idols to ever do so, meaning they get 30 Million Won (24K in USD) from royalties alone per year (adding all 3 members of 3racha up - that gives them 72K in royalties... now just imagine that PLUS the money they get from album sales, merch sales, concerts, and official events.... Stray Kids are rich rich. the group as a whole is estimated to have a 30-40 Million net worth, and they are only 5 years into their career)

Yes Han is probably one of, if not the most well-rounded idols I've seen!! This is kinda unrelated but because of how amazed you seem to be by the choreographies/dancing, facial expressions, and just overall performance skills, I truly believe you would LOVE Ateez. Not to mention how incredible the members are in every aspect, or even their no-skip discography, but I personally find them to be one of the best performers for sure in 4th gen, and Kpop overall as well. Skz and Ateez are my 2 top groups and there are definitely a couple of similarities between the two, ones which I think would make you adore Ateez😭. I believe that on Patreon you've reacted to them like 2 or 3 times but I'd love to see a reaction to literally ANYTHING of theirs, here on KZbin. If you need any recommendations then please let me know! Otherwise I won't write an essay in this comment as to not be annoying lmao. I wouldn't suggest you listen to them if I didn't truly truly believe you would love them so PLEASE if you can, give them a chance. They have a comeback on the 16th, so literally just 5 more days, if you want to tune in! Atiny's (Ateez's fandom name) would definitely watch your reaction(s), so if nothing else, I CAN promise that. :) Nonetheless thank you for reacting to this vid and continuing to support the boys as always Nigel!

nigel you should really watch the Kingdom videos, specifically "I'll be your man" cover by stray kids, at the end there is a part which is one of my favourite jisung high notes ever seriously. i dont know if you have seen them or not but i reccomend them 100%.

as a stay who has been with stray kids since the very beginning (literally the day hellevator was released, which is 7 october 2017), i witnessed how kwj left with my own eyes. that time.. ah, it was just terrible. we already had a couple of big kpop fandoms ganging up on us and dragging skz left and right, and then this happened. i maybe wouldn't treat it as such a big deal that time if he had just peacefully left, but instead he left in a very inopportune moment. skz were just about to have a comeback, and he just leaves (as the company stated, it was _his_ decision). they changed the dated of the comeback and then had to work non-stop to re-record everything, to make changes in the mvs and in the choreo, not to mention that they all looked absolutely devastated by that. in the eyes of a person who for a long time though of him as a savior (sort of, 2017-2019 were really bad years for me irl so skz became my safe space), now i can't seem to think of him other than as a traitor. i had terrible nightmares after he had left, and that's pretty much the time i also started to have trust issues. it may not seem as something serious enough to a lot of people, but for me is surely was. but now, you know, i don't miss him or anything. i don't wish him anything bad nor do i wish him anything good either. i think i've done a pretty good job in terms of giving no shits about him, and for more than 3 years i've been absolutely happy with skz being 8. that's my personal experience though, feel free to have a discussion with me if anyone wants that.

Your feelings about the whole situation is totally valid and I feel the same! I still remember the absolute heartbreak of hearing the news of kwj leaving the group. We still dont really know why he left but the timing of his decision was just so bad. SKZ were also preparing for a world tour after levanter. Like??? It was such a rough time for skz and stay 😭 When skz appeared as 8 on Chan's first vlive after shit went down, I literally ugly sobbed lol just seeing them continuing and moving forward was so uplifting. Tbh I was mad at kwj for a long time but now I feel indifferent as well. It's just saddening that theres a lot of old memories (+ so much skz content) we cant reminisce freely without being aware of his presence. Thats why I was so happy skz re-recorded their old songs 😭 Its crazy to think that SKZ has been 8 for more years than having 9 members. I totally agree, I'm so happy to see them as 8. They're perfect together 🥺 And Im so so proud of all the success they're achieving, truly deserved and long overdue. 8 is fate 💗

Han is THAT ace 🔥🔥 Really glad we have him in the group! Btw Seungmin and Hyunjin did an asmr Interview on the M2 channel recently and it was a vibe! Maybe you would like to react? Another thing that dropped is Hyunjin, Felix and I.N appearing on a show where they have to take care of a baby and it was the cutest thing ever 🥲 would love to see a reaction to that! Also Changbin, I.N and Seungmin had an interview on a show called Kstar Next Door and the interview was hilarious!! It had me on the floor. Maybe you’d want to check that one out too? See if you’re down to react some time please 👏🏻

I've watched a couple of your videos and I really think you would vibe well with this is one group called Ateez. I don't know if anyone has mentioned this group to you before but it's a really good group and their songs are awesome as well. They have 8 members just like Stray Kids and also make noise music, just like Stray kids. If you are ever in the mood for looking into a new group I highly recommend looking into them. Here is some information just in case you do want to look into Ateez- 8 members KQ Entertainment debuted in 2018 debut song is Pirate King Comeback this 16th (June 16th) Performance group (has complex and cool looking choreography. All the members dance extremely well) Has Jongho First ever group to have a Demon Line

As someone with a bit of vocal training, (1) Yes you can train for this, but it is hard, comes more easily/naturally got some people, and just the natural tone of his voice is so, so great for this style (2) Han’s high mix is definitely better than mine 😂

han is my bias in skz for all these reasons, loved seeing you react to this! because you like bts and skz (as i do), i think you'd love seventeen. they have the family/soulmates bond that you see in bts and skz, and are self producing as well. they internally compose and produce their music as well as choreo, and they have a lot of members that are much like jisung where they can do it all. i don't think you'd be disappointed!
