Yep. EA pretty much has a monopoly on sports games, so they barely try to improve the games year to year. More competition will mean better games and not just a yearly cash-grab.

@@Jake12323 that's very true. Hence why they can do things like release MW3 which is more like a DLC than a full game. That combined with all of the micro transactions and nonsense battle passes has caused me to abandon that franchise. I really miss the days of Black Ops 2 and the original MW2. That was the golden era of COD.

Don’t think I played much MW2, wish I did tho as people regard it so highly. Used to be such a bot on the bo2 multiplayer but it was still fun, feel like I can’t play games the same anymore.

FootballLife 2024 is the best game out there imo. A modded pro evo with quality gameplay. Shame it’s only PC tho as there’s little competition in football games

The gameplay has some problems like player randomly lose or wont get the ball and sprinting feels a little bit off, but i like the approach of the slower gameplay. The graphics are good enough for me and everything outside the gameplay is awesome. No pay to win, the skill points concept and the market

I genuinely enjoy playing this game so far. It is not ready and it is definitely in need of some improvement, but I can tell where we are heading. The only thing that I need to say is that if your opponent quits when it’s 0 to 0, you get the win. That’s more than enough for me to move on from EAFC.

Considering that they’re far from the finished product I think it’s great how close they are to having a great product and at least they know how to solve the issue. Ea will never solve their issues bc of the amount coding that’s just been put on top of the last code they literally don’t know how to fix it without breaking the game

EA’s gameplay feels smooth as they skip out a lot of animations. Players can spin on a dime and start moving. No need to take a touch and turn before running.

I'm gonna be honest, fifa is way too fast paced. UFL is the ideal pace it's just that we're all used to fifas fast paced gameplay

FIFA is slow? FIFA before FIFA 19 was way quicker than today and better. Quicker gameplay is so much more fun. Simple animations, quick dribbling. UFL looks good because unlike EA there's limited animations. But it is toooo slow

I would love a game that is realistic paced like efootball, has dribbles like fifa and is realistic in the things that lets u do.. i speak for a lot of people when i say im tired of the close dribble rats that capitalize on the unrealistic balance and turning of their players. The UI, the graphics are honestly good. They just need to balance the general gameplay. Look at how fast the ball goes, and it suddenly found itself slowing down at the right time for the runners to pick it up. They just need to fix that for now. After they fix that, they can start to think about the player's stride or something.

Was on a strike 9 wins and 2 draws. Got mbappe, ronaldo and good 77-81 players. Then faced a team with al low playercards. Lost 1-5 and it feels like scripting or handicapted.. That was the first time after 11 plays of enjoy. Anybody else got the same feeling?

I'm calling it here, 2K aren't going to make a very good Fifa game. They're good enough at basketball but they rely heavily on strict canned animations and don't try to emulate physics enough in their games. It will feel more like Fifa 12 than a modern game. A prime example with this is from NBA 2K, the ball doesn't have it's own physics programmed and frequently travels through players.

The issue with this game is that it looks exactly like fifa... PES atleast was distinguishable. Its just going to be a hard sell to get players to switch from fifa to an almost exact copy.

Can't be a FIFA killer when all they do is focus on is online fut style mode. The majority of people want a good career mode. Also we want an online career mode where you can join with friends and play out seasons. Not to mention in 2004 they had a full manager game and you could import your manager career to FIFA 04/05 seemlessly on the PC and even scan your face into the game It's been down hill every since for football games

The issue with every football game that isnt fifa is the same issue and its a huge 1 for me....fifa hold all the licensing so other games can't use real club names, badges, tournaments etc....i just cant get past the knock off clubs and tournaments....i dont want to be playing leverpool vs rael medrid in the pampions league final 🤣 also this game 100% get sued by FIFA as alot of it looks very similar i know there are limitations its football afterall but all the menus and stuff are soooo similar...its like they said hey lets make our own version of fifa rather than...hey lets make our own football game
