I like what you have so far. Maybe it's just my phone speakers but I think the audio levels need adjusting. Maybe lower the high end of the break sample or turn it down?

you need to stretch the sample to fit into 4 or 8 bars with the beats hitting on time

You have to tweak the sample by cutting out some parts and stretching them to get the right tempo.
