I am 53, I have always called mushrooms my favourite teachers, my greatest teachers in ALL of life. Side note, they are the cure to PTSD and depression.
@chrisbeaumont46304 ай бұрын
If you get PTSD from an extremely bad trip on mushrooms, do more mushrooms fix it? I guess if certain medicines cause bad reactions in people, they should try a different medicine, so maybe a similar case with mushrooms 🤔 It still leaves ecstasy for PTSD in a clinical setting and ketamine for depression worst case. I've heard mushrooms are uniquely powerful in helping terminally ill patience accept their death and become at peace with its inevitability.

@@chrisbeaumont4630 It's possible but I don't know if it's really the best way to go about it. After a very difficult 7g mushroom trip I had some PTSD. When I would take them again I would immediately be back in that dark place. I tried what you suggest and I did have some catharsis -- the trip did brighten up a bit but was overall still quite rough. It just felt so mentally exhausting and overwhelming to keep going back there at that time. I didn't have the foundation to keep stretching my mind like that. What healed me was simple, healthy living, and abstaining from psychedelics. Every time you sleep, you process and heal; every time you eat, every time you hug someone, etc. Well being is your natural state. Also know that you are never stuck or affected because of something in the past. It's only that you're ~recreating~ it in the present, for one reason or another. And that's okay... we all have our process. One you've regained your foundation, and can say you no longer have PTSD, then you might consider trying them again. With a pure intention, and an increased respect for them, you can rebuild the relationship gradually with low doses (and it'll be stronger than ever). I haven't quite tried this yet myself... I've only just been coming back to psychedelics after 10 years and with cactus, but it has been a proof of concept.

Your eyes have become so bright open and soft! Your heart as big & shiny as the moon! Love that you are in such devotion to your path. Thank you for this sweet share. It took me back to one of my first mushroom experiences. I was 22. My brain and heart melted out of my nose and I was shot through time and space. And of course a million timelines happened in between. All with the span of a day. When I came to I found myself in the woods sitting on top of a mound of dirt. I was told later that it was a burial site. Who knows if that part was true or not. I think for some of us psychedelics are wayyyyyy more than just some pretty colors. That doesn’t make others experiences less valid. I just think some of us get certain parts of us unlocked while working with them. I hope to come on one of your travel adventures soon someday. I really believe in what you’re doing with the organization you’ve created. I live in Santa Fe currently and sadly the economy of spiritual tourism is in full effect here. Giving nothing back to the people and the land that deserve it the most. Take care Dakota! May your travels continue to be heartfelt and honorable!!❤️✨❤️

But the same night strong winds knocked over a giant tree which landed on the tiny restaurant near my campsite, severely injuring most of my friends who were hanging out there. Right as the devastation happened, I had been singing to Goddess Kali

Mushrooms are magical
@TheUnholyPosole5 ай бұрын
They are when you read about them, but once you start eating them a lot they're just a substance that causes your body to short circuit for a few hours. But it is magical in the sense that they can be uplifting and fun for a few hours. But they can also cause stomach aches, and jitters when you're coming down, which I don't enjoy.

@@TheUnholyPosole if anything in this world is still “just a substance” to you then you’re reducing this whole life experience down to physical matter. Which is fine if that’s what you wanna do but many others have gotten the exact opposite out of the mushroom experience in realizing that we are not just these bodies we’re in. Idk dude I wish u luck on your journey and hopefully u begin to see the magic in ur day to day life. I’ve had just one truly noteworthy experience on mushrooms so far and it wasn’t even super crazy but it changed me forever. It’s not just “your body short circuits for a few hours” it’s literally rewiring your brain and increasing its neuroplasticity aka breaking up old thought patterns, EXTREMELY therapeutic. It’s more like a factory reset on your brain than a “short circuit in the body,” imo. I truly believe the entire world could benefit from using psilocybin, but of course one does need to take caution each time they’re used. Certainly much more than “just a substance” though.

I used to eat mushrooms a lot, here's my explanation of what it's like to trip on them, First you feel anxious, then you feel happy and content, then you feel a little drunk, then you feel shaky and anxious for a few hours, then you calm down and feel like it's over, then you realize it's not over yet, then you sober up but still feel shaky and anxious, then you're sober. If you eat just a small amount, like a cap, it gives almost a little energy kick, and a subtle mood enhancer. I can definitely see how it could help relieve depression. But ive also noticed eating mushrooms can show who's got mental issues, because 1 out of 8 people on mushrooms usually freak out, start yelling at everyone, run off from the group, causing drama.

Shrooms hardly ever did anything for me, I was wondering what was up with that. The last time I took them, I felt nothing, and I worked through what should have been the trip. Then when 6 hours had passed, I laid down and closed my eyes and was suddenly seeing and hearing a party where my friend David who had died in the WTC on 911 introduced me to George Harrison of the Beatles. It was so emotional, I wept, and George was very UNimpressed with me, deciding I wasn't all that!!!! I was just some Beatles fan weeping like a lady. My shroom dealer told me that meant I was already on the wavelength of the shrooms and didn't need to eat them any more. I have no idea if he knew what he was talking about though. I still feel like I met George and he thought I was lame!!! It sure felt like it was uncomfortably real.

The thing about external materials , and it use causing spiritual experience is not natural !!! I have undergone same stuff myself, where spiritual experience landed me into a complete shift, eye opening dimension of existence! But the thing is that , it throws one up in an experience that is perceptible only at very heightened states of sensitivity …. But, causing an internal experience to be triggered from the outside, externally, can also have its after effects…..So, I feel that , if one is actually into spirituality, one must do it in a proper way…. Because, when one steps into a completely unknown dimension, things can go everywhere…..which contains all positive , negative ( referring from the mind’s perspective) side …….. And if something completely unknown begins to happen in an unstable mind ( which happens in chemically induced spiritual experiences most of the time ) , only fear would be the natural response automatically!! Which might not be a good way….. Very powerful energetic inner works, require a very guided, protected atmosphere! Potent kriyas are extremely powerful! 🙏🏻

The meaning is love, the mystery is love, the answer is love. Shooms start to show you the ultimate reality, but they are blurry, there are other clearer ways like Aya and 5MeO that will show much more clearly how love is the only truth and the only reality, while everything else is a dream dreamed by the reality itself, the infinite consciousness, which is the only love there is.

Hi there! i never tried mushrooms or Aya. Have you? why do you think Aya is better. i have been think to join an ayahuasca retreat to heal myself physically and emotionally
@VR-od1jl4 ай бұрын
Hi dear. Thanks for your question. The connection that Shrooms provide with the plant realm is quite unique, and you can enter a connection with plants deeper than with probably any other tool. But also Shrooms can cause lots of discomfort, you feel that your existence is melting and while they provide a deeper understanding they cause also looping thoughts, partial loss of short term memory and mental confusion, blurry understanding, among other issues. The good thing about Shrooms is that they do not have MAOIs, so they are biologically very safe no requiring any special diet, just a 5 hour fast before taking them. (provided you are using the safe ones because some mushrooms can be very toxic and potentially fatal) Of course, alcohol must be avoided before taking any of these tools. In fact alcohol should be always avoided because it damages the spiritual potential. On the other hand, Aya is way deeper, more clear minded, easy to understand, even deeper than Shrooms, but it has its disadvantages, like requiring a very strict diet 1 or 2 days before, during and 1 day after, because of the MAOIs, so with Aya you have to avoid many foods and ingredients like alcohol and animal products (these should be avoided always anyway), but also normally safe foods like pineapple, garlic, onions, legumes, spicy foods, anything that is fermented or contains tyramine, caffeine, salt, sugar, fried foods, etc. Aya can be and usually is very heavy, especially the first time, but it is easily dosed, so by taking a smaller amount, the experience is not as deep but surely less uncomfortable. The first time is mostly a cleansing process so it is the worst, but then it becomes easier to use. There are several good documentaries on youtube regarding Aya. But even all the best documentaries cannot explain the depth of the innocence, understanding, awareness and intelligence that can be accessed especially with Aya and 5MeO. Shrooms might not be as deep, but in my experience they can access the vegetable/plant realm like no other, which is a special and particular potential unique to Shrooms. So they are all worth trying and they add more experience and wisdom from a different perspective, and this enriches one`s wisdom. Good like with your spiritual exploration. And remember that the ultimate understanding, as Aya says is that: The only thing that you really need to learn and remember from all these experiences and all your life is that Infinite Love is the Only Truth, while everything else is illusion, a dream that this Infinite Consciousness/God/Love is dreaming in order to be able to love someone else, which in reality is itself because everything is one, the I am, God.
@VR-od1jl17 күн бұрын
@@zhannak888 Aya is deeper, clearer, stronger, more complete as an experience. It requires a special diet and fasting, so it is more challenging than mushrooms, but overall a better experience for self improvement and spiritual awakening. Shrooms are more blurry, the teachings can be important and very useful but usually not as clear as with Aya. Aya goes more straight to the point to what is really needed to know. This is why Aya says that there is only one thing that you really need to know, and that is that Infinite Love is the only reality, hence the only thing that matters, because everything else is a dream that appears as a collective dream for us to enjoy. But most people get lost into the dream and become controlled by the dream.

Try tripping out naturally, it's really hard, but you might like it, one way is to exercise for many many hours 9+, then eventually you get so tired you hallucinate. Another way is to lay in an isolation tank for 5+ hours and eventually you'll start to trip out for a few seconds. You can also meditate if you don't have an isolation tank, but it takes a really long time, sometimes years of practice to ever reach that point. Making love is another way you can hallucinate, but it's difficult because the bond required to truly love someone is rare. But it is possible. I experienced it once, I literally looked at a clock before we started making love, I started to feel drunk with positivity and happiness, then I looked at the clock literally 2 minutes later, and 45 minutes went by. It tripped me out because I know no more than 2 minutes went by from when I previously looked at the clock. I 100% time traveled. We didn't even switch positions or move around.
