My FIRST TIME Trying Filipino FAST FOOD! (Jollibee Taste Test!) 🇵🇭

Today I try out the food from three of the Philippines most famous fast food chains to find out which is the best and who has the best fried chicken! I have been told by so many people that I need to try Jollibee so I am finally doing it.. You can find one on almost every corner in Metro Manila but I decided to go to one that was quite different to the rest! I was so full after this video 😅

Hi Josh, great video. I love that you tried & compared all three known fastfood places in the Philippines. I would of skipped the Chowking though they have the best Halo-halo , and instead try the Mang Inasal fast food chain , known for their tasty grilled bbque chicken & unlimited rice.

You can try "Mang Inasal" next time. They serve roasted chicken too but a little different. Oh, by the way, they have unli rice and unli soup which Filipinoes obviously love❤️ we have a saying here, "rice is life"😂

Chowking is a hit or miss depends on the branch too .... but jollibee and chowking actually one company.. jollibee bought 4 fast foods chains and chowking is one of them

When i was there last December in SM Aura Premier, whether its Jollibee, KFC or Maccas, they were all disgusting to eat inside. Tables and floor had food and rubbish everywhere. I guess cleaning wasn't first priority with staff. Its embarrassing to other patrons and to overseas visitors to see such sight.

when in jollibee..filipinos order Chickenjoy..its the crispy chicken, rice and gravy....other common favorites are the palabok, spagheti, jolliydog, and an aloha burger...probably the counterlady said chicken sandwich as you are a foreigner and that was always a safe answer...Ask locals and you will hear the same suggestion as mine.

Andoks do have a chicken sandwich, which should be a bit competition with Jollibee. Andoks has fried chicken too If you're going to do a part 2, I suggest you try comparing the fried chickens from Jollibee, Andoks, and KFC. By the way, if you eat spicy, you might as well try their spicy chickens too. Also, if there's a Tropical Hut near you, their burger and fried chicken are pretty good too.

Chowking is actually known for their Halo-Halo(Mix2 ; you have to mix everything before eating em') Dessert and their Chowfan (fried rice). So it's understandable that it will be at the bottom of your list. If you want to try another good Filipino chicken fast food place, try Mang Inasal. Their Halo-Halo is the same with Chowking because Jollibee, Chowking & Mang Inasal are all under the Jollibe Corporation umbrela. So if you already tried the Halo2x from Chowking, better try other desserts in Mang Inasal 🙂 Great video by the way! 😍😁

This is madness. Every food vlogger SHOULD BE INSTRUCTED PROPERLY ON THINGS TO DO by the staff. Im Filipino and everybody should remember this. Because first times are important. THE REASON why you thought the dumpling and noodles are a little bit "lacking" in flavor, is that there are condiments in there that you need to put in order to taste the full experience. What we do is we ask for that tiny plastic cup and fill it with soy sauce+calamansi+chili oil combo, and sprinkle it on the dumpling and noodles. Also, theres supposed to be gravy with the chicken. .... - (after watching you put gravy on everything) - oh hehe. thats still tasty to me but that is not what we do normally. soy sauce+calamansi+chili oil is the way.

Filipinos love jollibee chicken joy its crispy( breading) outside and juicy inside. But i prefer andoks ckicken for its less breading and tasty gravy. I only go to chowking for halo halo or hot wanton soup most of thier food are so greasy.🍗🍝🥘🍡

Spaghetti in Jollibee is being served to delight local children, which started the tradition mostly on their birthday celebrations. These kids hate tasting sour flavors and normally request sweet flavors and that is how Jollibee took its milestone of adapting the local traditions blended with most passion and customary among Filipinos. But if you visit fine dining restaurants like the Italian restaurants, they serve comparably similar to Western ones like in Italy where it originated. I like Baliwag Lechon Manok than Andoks. Andoks is too salty in flavor. While Baliwag is very tangy and aromatic in flavor.
