My recommendation: use your plat to get another warframe slot. Next work towards your next slot through nightwave. Also if you're bad at hacking, make some cyphers you have unlimited blueprints.

Welcome Tenno! You (and every other Warframe-user) is a Tenno. We are ashamed of the current parkour animations - we *USED TO* wall-dash, but yeah, now we bunny-hop instead. Mild sadness was felt by the veterans. Your mods are your power - the mastery rank of your gear isn't quite like a level-up in other games, more like how familiar you are with it, and thus how much you can customize it, with say, pyrotic ammunition, or an alloy-reinforced recoil compensator, or whatever, and the mods are how the game represents your Tenno doing it. So yeah, mods are your actual power in this game. On the upside, any veteran can bring their favourite warframe and weapons and just remove their mods to play around your level. Your Warframe is kinda like a Job in Final Fantasy - you can change them after the fact, collecting them all is quite possible. Almost every planet has a boss who drops parts for a warframe, and many other warframes can be earned all manner of ways, like by getting perfect runs in certain mission types, or by doing Bounties for certain NPCs in the Open World areas, or even by joining a Clan and getting parts from your Clan's tech labs... As for magical girls... Yareli did get told about your ideal Warframe already, ey? I main Nezha (Fire-lad) and a friend from back in HS plays Yareli and I joke that we're playing Ember and Hydroid's kids (Ember and Hydroid were the original Fire/Water warframes, and Nezha and Yareli were the second respectively of their elements, and are pretty much children in temperament, and physically smaller than most other warframes - though Nezha has a deluxe "All grown up" skin) As for the viewer(s) who offered a Prime: My guess is they're in the same position I am, having spare copies of certain Prime sets because of how long they've been playing. If your benefactor turns out to be some sort of high rank Tenno it's nice to be thankful but you prolly don't have to worry they're going into debt on your behalf! Anyway congrats on getting through the tutorial's tutorial. You'll know you finished "The Tutorial" when you hit character-creation. No FOMO, no sun-setting. When Prime things "Enter the Vault" (Prime weapons and warframes) you keep it if you built it. Things rotate back out of the Vault. Season Pass rewards have turned-up in subsequent Seasons. Event rewards also turn up in later event loot pools or in other game modes eventually. Also colour-pickers are infinitely-reusable. Since you hate the Gremlin Claws, something will turn up soon. Ask your regulars who are also Tenno how to use it. Sassy styling incoming that you'll be able to use with *any* warframe!

Just came across this VOD. I saw that other comment, and got the gist of him telling you the basics. So I will say - its okay to get confused. Learn things one step at a time, its okay to have your builds be super simple in the beginning, like just focusing on ability strength or power for your weapons. Take your time, then get into the things that are Meta. Get comfortable with the movement system as well, movement is power in games after all - its the reason why I prefer Warframe over Destiny. And finding a good clan will help your experience immensely. Helping you with missions, tips and pointers, etc. For example, I was nervous trading at first before my clan's leader eased me into it. Generally speaking, you've picked one of the best times to start playing due to the numerous updates since two years ago that have streamlined the different mechanics and systems the game has. For example with the recent update, there used to be two different armor types specific for the two main enemy factions. Now all armor is the same and the two enemy factions are weak to specific damage types that the game suggests you have when hovering over a mission. Have fun baby Tenno! This game helped me in a tight spot in my life and I hope you come to appreciate it as well. And remember: Fashion is always the end game.

@@moki_minami One more thing, even though there are quests the first big, big quest isn't until Uranus. TLDR, that's more as a result of the dev history of the game, to an eventually great result. After that quest the story starts to pick up. You could rush to get there, but I would advise not to since you wouldn't know what's happening. This game does get better overtime, more so as your growth as a tenno. Think of it as eating a meal as opposed to junk food.

Having played since 2013, it still feels so weird to see modern Warframe from a new players perspective. I remember when I was a baby Tenno, running around, unsure of what to do, trying to take on the world. Wish I could relive that time all over again.

Can't wait to see the strain of a new Tenno prepping for and playing The New War... Some other tips for down the line: -There is a quest weapon you receive later on, the Xoris. Yeah might wanna hold onto that... -Plains of Eidolon are a betch and a half for newer players, as enemies are a little tougher, so don't try to tackle them to soon. -Got a weapon you want to level? If you're confident in your survivability, do missions with JUST that weapon. Weapon XP is shared across the load out. Less weapons equipped means more XP. for the one you're trying to level up. -DO NOT delete built Warframes early. At least not until you gain access to a certain something down the line... -Modding can be confusing, Lord knows it was when I started. Be sure to get familiar with your Warframe's abilities. Since you picked the god starter Excalibur, I can say you want some range and strength. Weapons and companions you mod based on what you need them to do. -EVERYTHING CAN BE EARNED, as you've noticed earlier...but some stuff is just easier to buy either outright or with platinum. Otherwise, take your time and have fun.

Welcome Tenno. It's always good to have new people joining. As for your question on fomo, it's not as big a thing as it coild be compared to other games. About 95%of everything is earnablen in game and the last 5% is pretty much cosmetics. Anything else is a time sink to get or platinum(the premium currency) to speed up.

37:39 Yareli was considered one of the worst frames a couple years ago but now stands as a top pick (at least in my opinion) because of her ability to deal massive damage with secondary weapons, her 1st ability is a crowd control that makes enemies take more dmg, her second ability is merulina (which is the K-drive being talked about) it allows you to take 90% less damage with it, her 3rd ability summons 3 aqua blades that shred enemies and her 4th is a pretty good grouping tool to kill enemies, so all in all, she’s a good frame now and is far better than is usually portrayed by people that haven’t used her since she came out

Look up 'mk1' in the market console on your ship. You can find extra starter weapons that don't require building and you get them right away, and they just cost credits (the non premium currency). The strun is a shotgun for example which would let you blast enemies close up which you seem to do anyways. You have limited slots, but im sure your viewers will just gift you those lol. You wanna level up items to level 30 (the max) because this increases your overall level, your mastery. Mastery unlocks more weapons and some other stuff.

Good to see some new players comming to Warframe. Just a quick heads up, progression will take time, building is time gated but i beg you bare with it. Everything can be farmed. Something impressive at the end of the road is awating you but to get through all of it it will take 100h upwards. It's worth it. Also send in the Stugs :D. I would give the game a 6/10 on the Fomo scale. Most events are Up for a time or date you have to komplete it as a community but everything comes back at some point, it not gone forever.

not that dreadful. for a grinding game? not even close. there are some stuff that takes too long, sure, but most things can be gotten in a day of good farming, which is more than can be said about most mmos that require you to farm for literal months, and still might not get it, or games like destiny where stuff has a "god roll" that can be the diference between acceptable and borderline game breaking.

Welcome to Warframe! It's a lot at first but Warframe is my most played individual game of all time (I've player Monster Hunter as a series way longer) even taking long breaks from it. A lot of diversity in game play, fashion and general missions keep me coming back. I also have to say in terms of content I think Warframe has the most content out of any game. There's way to much to do but the majority of it that isn't story is optional and can be done whenever in whatever order so it never feels overwhelming even after missing multiple updates.

Mag is actually less coordination heavy 😊 Her magnetize is a big group hitbox xD Her pull brings enemies to you to slash and her 3 and 4 are aoe damaging and shield restores😊

Warframes story is a bit of a slow burn. But that is a good thing, the story means more when you have felt out the world as a whole before hand. The build up makes the payoff all the sweeter. There is a lot of content but the Devs spend a lot of energy continuously trying to make the new player experience better, and it is a bit rough.. If you totally hyper addict it you can get caught up in a month, but its worth to take a little time, learn the systems, enjoy the worlds. There is basically sny kind of weapons you could want, rocket launchers to throwing knives, nunchucks to a giant saw. Laser cannons to flamethrowers

My best advice when first starting out is to only take advice from other people if you have specific questions. Because the game is so complex and everyone plays a different way, you'll get a lot of people pulling you in different directions. Play at your own pace, pay close attention to what the game tells you, and ask questions about what it doesn't tell you (because there's plenty it doesn't tell you).

Just want to give you a heads up, to get into the mid game is going to require like 100 or so hours. The early game can really be a struggle. The big tip I can give is to only use platinum to buy Warframe and weapon slots. As for anything else mods or items buy them from players to get good deals.

Haven't played Warframe in such a long time myself (I played back when it first launched). I only recently started looking back at all the new story content added and I'm really tempted to redownload and give this game another go. Cool stream and all - So cool to see new players in this day and age. Edit: Speaking of starting frames, I started with Mag and eventually main Rhino. During the hayday of mass lazy farming, Zoren-copters, and railjack PvP, I main Ember. Haven't been back in WF since, so I'm sure there'll be a lot to relearn if I get back in.

A tip for spy missions, limbo and shade companion edit: or alternatively Loki with a powerful silent weapon whoever called spy missions chance doesn't know how to spy mission and that's okay. Spy missions aren't about speed they're about being cautious and avoiding tripping alarms. hard to do that on any frame that doesn't go invisible or phase through sensers. But Super 100% possible to clear without alarms as long as you don't alert everything in the room

I came back to Warframe about 5 times. The first time I played, I put in maybe 40 hours. Came back this year again and put in 600 hours (out of about 1000 total). The game is in a really good spot. Right now is the best time to play Warframe. It's never been better.

Only fomo in warframe is the nightwave cosmetics which is their version of a battle pass but free, but those do rotate around and eventually come back every now and then, as well as the void trader who comes around bi-weekly and his stock also rotates, or if you feel like spending a little during tennocon he comes around for all digital ticket owners and brings everything he ever had with him. Twitch drop stuff also comes back eventually to get later.

WarFrame literally built and entire game and attached it to WarFrame and its free to download play from the get go. Though I believe if you pick one, it locks the other until you progress far enough in the story of that other game.

Man this is so nostalgic. I couldn't play Paragon after Epic games' success with Fortnite, and inevitably set aside Warframe as well. I've started playing again recently and its cool seeing streams like these.

Welcome to warframe! It can be scary/daunting at first but if you want to invest time into the game the community will welcome you with open arms. Also a great thing to remember 99% of the stuff in warframe can be gotten for free. Even the premium currency you use to buy cosmetics in the store can be gotten by trading different loot with other people ^^

And about the "not hard game" thing it's a joke obviously, this game sometimes can be frustrating, for new players especially, but if you're passionate enough it can be very rewarding and fun to play. P. S: If Moki reads this comment (dunno why, but still) Warframe community is usually very friendly and open, but there can be some harsh individuals. If someone says something in the lines of "Your build is wrong it must be..." or "You're using ... wrong", actually if there is such context that you do something wrong then don't listen. I tell you this as 7000+ hours player there is no "right" way to play or "right" warframe to use, just have fun using things what game gives you to play with. I could have given better advice than just 'don't listen to bad people', but it kinda all I can give, game advice isn't usually what a streamer lacks and also I'm not good at this game and never want to be) P. S.2: I'm new to this channel, but glad that didn't miss it. I hope that one day I will see you in random game one day and be like hey I know this person I watched them on KZbin))

believe me as someone who played this for a long time the beginning can feel tiring and unrewarding but it has gotten amazing story and lore over the years and once you finish the real tutorial you will be hooked on another note anything from weapons to watrframes can be aquired for free (even the paid currency can be traded with other players)

Remember to take it slow, don't rush it. It's a completely different game when you start out vs. once you're at the endgame. Have fun, enjoy what you enjoy, take advice and gifts here and there but don't feel pressured to do the "best" methods if there's another method seems more fun to you. The wheel is in your hands. Be wary of gifts. You'll likely get a lot as a content creator and they're amazing in polishing the rough areas of early game, but accept too much and you'll feel overwhelmed or feel like you have nothing left to work towards. A healthy middle ground is possible. Lastly, don't google anything about the story. Happy hunting.

Welcome to the game, you'll find the community is fairly welcoming, and while it's great to take people's advice, definitely don't take it as gospel. Especially if someone calls a frame, or even a weapon bad/ 'one of the worst' they might be right, especially in the case of a weapon, but they might not. And in the end, if you like using that frame/weapon/whatever it doesn't matter. The game has a 'hard mode' that unlocks after completing every mission, and even there, with lvl150+ enemies with buffed armor/damage, the mk1-braton, a worse version of the braton you chose as your starter that used to be a starter weapon can be viable if you pump an absurd number of resources into it. Also, the community tends to either not understand frames that require a bit of tinkering to get working unless a prominent content creator promotes a good build for that frame, or they might view any frame that requires actual effort while in mission, or has a 'better alternative' as bad, even if they're still good. Yareli is a good example of this, some people called her one of the worst frames when she was brought up here, but she has great survivability, some decent cc, and a really good buff for secondary weapons. At launch she was pretty annoying to use, because you had to be on her hoverboard to make use of those buffs, and most levels aren't designed for those, so it was difficult to properly navigate the levels, but she has an augment mod now that makes the board follow her around and buff her instead so you don't need to ride around on a hoverboard in tight hallways anymore. The starter frame thing is also an example, most people either recommend excal as the 'most new player friendly' or recommend the frame they started with. All three starters are pretty decent in the endgame, though excal does fall off more than the other two these days, and if you want to make use of a character's full kit, then excal is the most new player friendly. However, one of the most powerful, and easiest early game strategies is to just use mag's one (pull) to clump enemies up in front of her and then melee them. Because the bo staff is probably the strongest of the starter weapons, and doing this also makes all the loot be right next to you, which matters as you don't have vacuum on a companion yet, this is both an easy, and a powerful early game strat, even if it may not be quite as fun or engaging as using a character's full kit will be. In addition, kullervo, a frame that's accessible really early on is a very powerful melee focused frame, so you can focus on melee for a while with him, and even with a really low investment build he can be viable for endgame content, so if your goal was just to speedrun to endgame, that might be the best approach. But there's no real reason to speerun to steel pat or anything. Basically, play what you want to play, if you find it fun you can almost certainly invest into it enough to make it viable for all of the content the game has to offer.

"excalibur is the most beginner friendly" is not true anymore, all 3 are really good beginner warframe now, after mag change she is really good for beginner too her magnetize can really become a powerful survivability tool and she has pull which is a great ability for melee too, she is not complicated to build anymore to make her works, volt is well volt he is good then and still good now also having speed in plains is great before u get k-drive or archwing, excalibur is great but you can get umbra really early now.
