If you havent seen slam dunk you should. KnB is a spirtual successor of SD to the point where kagami and aomine are taken straight from SD. The MC of SD is a tall red head who can jump high and there is a character in SD who looks exactly like aomine and he does a behind the backboard shot around 3 blockers same as Aomine. It doesnt have the superhuman lvl crazy shit KnB does but it has really crisp traditional basketball, like down to perfection

Although Kuroko's basketball is not realistic like Haikyuu!! and a lot of moves are way over-exaggerated, it's really a fun sports anime to watch. And it's actually a great anime to react to because of all the hype moments. A lot of people said Slam Dunk is the best basketball anime, but I like Kuroko's basketball a lot more. I just felt Slam Dunk was pretty stupid and I could never get into it. This one got me hooked right away.
