My first times having SVT

Interesting, I had my first at age 61. Went to ER having no clue what was happening. I did realize I had an SVT attack about a year prior- I was told it was a panic attack. In hindsight, knowing what I know now, It wasnt a panic attack. Thank you for sharing your story

My first time was 7th grade playing football at recess and I just sat it out I told my recess teacher. But he had me sit down wait until it come back to rhythm. Because he probably thought it was normal due to playing football I also feel when my heart skips a beat and then when it finally comes back to rhythm

I have A-fib and will be going for my 2nd Ablation in a week. I am doing a major lifestyle change hoping it will help. I quit smoking 10+ years ago; losing weight; do not use salt much and little to no caffeine and alcohol. I take the meds also and still I do get episodes of Afib. I holding out hope that the re-do ablation will help so I can get off the beta blockers meds, for they slow you down over time. Been on beta blockers for almost 10-years. So hang in there and hope for better times.

After multiple heart surgeries and AFibs for 20+ years i've been having SVT attacks for the past 2 years. I'm on amiodarone. I'm hoping it will go away soon 🙏🙏🙏

Does your heart rate bounce around during any episodes or just go up around 200 bpm? I get a few different episodes. 1 - shoots up to 150 to 200 then just goes back to normal. 2 - bounces all around 40 bpm to 180 bpm. 3 - bounces around 100 bpm to 160 bpm. Bending seems to be a big trigger which is strange. I wouldn’t care about it if it would stop happening when I’m driving. The presyncope is horrendous

Yea I get several different episodes. All day I get PVCs which are irregular heartbeats. They think that’s what triggers my SVT and after wearing several Halter Monitors they discovered I also have Afib. Which makes since as to why my heart sometimes feels like it’s jumping all around and out of rhythm. When I get SVT it’ll usually cause Afib for short spells as it’s happening. My heart will go from really fast to slow and out of rhythm then back to really fast. It repeats until it hopefully goes back into sinus rhythm.

Have you had any ablations?? Either for the SVT or afib? I hear the SVT ablations are very successful.
