An important tip: Trains make the most money when they transport only a couple of goods from one place to the other. In the case of your machine production, I would have established two trains; one to carry strictly silver up to the smeltery while the other carries steel, silver bars, and machines.

If there is one thing conflicted nerd is known for with transport fever, it is the everything train, a famous example of it was the massive loop they made a while ago, everything went on the loop and it was amazing, even if a little bit inefficient

With the train if you leave the High Point station to just fill to 100% it should pick up everything it can at that station, the 1st station (Garland?) on the route is the only one you need to tell it not to fill with steel so the you can get the silver later. Could be worth looking if there is anything around the machines factory that can be used elsewhere and transported on flatbed/gondola so they are not running empty for that part, maybe additional coal or iron for the steel plant and trees for the new tool plant (i know there are closer ones but these will increase the train use) and Huntsville wants tools that can be made in San Fran and moved up to Huntsville via the empty box cars on the outward journey. Heck if you can find a way to run something in the gondola from the Silver plant towards the machine plant (like grain to plastic) it would almost be running something all the time.

You need to activate the other silver plant on the opposite side connect both of both of them together one on the opposite one on the other side so it picks up at the first stop and when it gets to his in destination it picks up the second stop bring it back down to the plant you have your two to one

I think for Kansas City you should maybe have dedicated food delivery trucks instead of trucks taking alcohol up and food back? I mean yes I get that they can carry both but maybe some extra trucks that only carry food into the town could help it get food in faster?

you could remove a platform section from the station so it counts as two separate platfroms and tell the train to stop at one then the other and tell it to only load steel at one so that the steel has it's own platform to store on without being lost

26:23 that blue truck just picked up some steel *EDIT* think just realised it's for tools *EDIT 2* don't think it's for tools, it's picking steel up for some reason
