Fantastic climbing. Quick question, what camera are you using? Love the picture quality. Cheers!

Thanks Julio, I appreciate the comment 🤙 All of this footage was shot on my Canon EOS R - Mirrorless with the majority being show on a 17-40mm wide angle. Any stationary shots were in 4k to get that crisp image and most moving shots I up the frame rate and take it down to 1080p :-)

lovely vid chris ! is there a guidebook to flock hill? am looking to go next year, thanks !
@ChrisHaileyTrainHardDiveEasy Жыл бұрын
Hi Sam, thanks very much. I used the castle hill basin website. It is the best form of guide for the area as you make an account and then get to log your climbs. There are a few boulders up on "the crag" website too but the castle hill basin website has a GPS map of the boulders so you always know where everything is :-)

Rookie question but why spray water on the holds?
@ChrisHaileyTrainHardDiveEasy2 жыл бұрын
I wondered that a few years ago when I saw some castle hill crushers doing it, because limestone gets polished by chalk and rubber if you wash the holds after your session it extends the life of the rock. The difference between flock and castle hill is incredible for this, flock was far less polished even on the classics because the climbers take such good care of it 😃
