I’m sorry for Cheeto, I know what it means to lose a pet that is really close to you, once I had a dog, his name was Rex, he died last summer, it was really hot so he just couldn’t hold it, he died. The worst is that I wasn’t even there for him, beacause I was in another town for the summer, and then a few weeks later, my grandma died, she had been suffering from cancer for months, I wasn’t there for her either. I hope they are in a better place. I know it’s hard illysa, but you don’t have to worry, Cheeto will always be there for you even if you don’t see her. My deepest condolences -Alessandro

I honestly cried when I heard about the kitty because not so long ago: My cat that I’ve had since I was two was put down for a kidney failure which he was also suffering silently. We decided to get him treatment, he stayed in his bed all day in so much pain. The next Monday he got really bad and was sent to the vet to spend some days there, I didn’t say goodbye to him because I didn’t know they were sending him there cause I was in school. I was like ok, no no deal he will be fine. Fast forward Thursday I was with my two of my bffs on swimming training. We finished and the very next day I had a exam AND a very very important presentation. I got in my moms car ready to go home when my dad called.... He asked how I was doing, I didn’t knew what he was talking about so he asked if mom had already told me about Salem (that was his name because he was a gorgeous black cat with yellow eyes) I started getting tears in my eyes and asked what he was talking about, turns out my cat had been put down that morning. My mom got on the car (she was talking to another mom) and saw me pouring my eyes out. She immediately knew what was going on. She immediately said that she was sorry for not telling me because 1. I had a exam and a presentation the next day and she didn’t want to distract me and 2. My bffs were supposed to come with me to “Valle de bravo” to my house there to spend the halloween weekend together and she didn’t want me to be miserable on a event that I had been planing for months. Of course we all cried for a wile in the parking lot and finally went home. The next day was Thursday 31 of October 2019 ( because I’m from mexico my school there celebrated on the 1 of November on Friday, day of the death) and I still HAD to go to school because this presentation and exam were worth almost half of my final grade. My very best friend saw that I was very sad in the hallway and asked what happened. I told her we should rather talk in the bathroom. There I just couldn’t hold it I again started pouring my eyes out and told her what happened. She hugged me and told me it would be alright. We went to class and by the end of second period my friend had told all of our friend group what had happened. They all came rushing to hug me and most of the school noticed so suddenly all the classmates and teachers were comforting me. It was honestly very nice of them and not really overwhelming. The next day my friends came to Valle we had a blast and mourned my kitty cats death. This cat was my best friend I’ve had him since I was two and always dreamed to take him to college but in the end I think I can finally let go of him. Salem the black cat died on Wednesday October 30 2019 a day before halloween and two days before day of the death. I can really say he was a good cat and my bff. ( before I started writing this it was all bright and sunny and I’ve just noticed that now the sky is pouring water, it’s like Salem is telling me he is alright )

Now blossom I later found out that she had acid in her stomach and tore a hole through the stomach. we had to put her down and I cried so hard I cried myself to sleep for a week and had a breakdown with my teacher after class. Soon when blossom died bridget did not take her death well and would wait and wait for her to come back soon she died of old age :c

When my cat got lost, (she will most likely never come home) I told my friends and one said, “it’s not that big of a deal, get over it my cat died.” And the other said “so?” And then I said “I wanted this cat for my whole life...” and then they just changed the subject like it was nothing. I told my dad about it and he said “I lost my dog too.” And at first I thought he was gonna comfort me but instead he just belittled my problem like my friends did. The only place that comforted me was a cat shelter. The only humans that comforted me was my mom and my grandma. Now I have a new kitten that a love just as much but she isn’t like Oreo (my cat that is lost). I still have dreams about Oreo. But I’m starting to feel better with my new kitten because she’s sort of like a therapy cat. I have anxiety and she helps me feel better. She reminds me of Oreo.

We had to put my 16 year old husky down last summer because all of her legs and her bladder had given out. It was so sad because I’ve had her my whole life. I know how tough it can be to loose a pet, and I hope that you’re doing okay. Lots of love ❤️

I had a Husky in my profile pic anyway last August I woke up to my parents on my bed crying and they told me that my dad was getting ready to go to work and heard crying from where the dogs slept I had a pitbull and a doberman and so my husky had arthritis and so we had this saddle for him and my dad lifted him up and collapsed so my dad rushed him to the emergency vet and he suffered a stroke they told me what happened and I started crying. Later my nana who babysat me every 3rd Saturday came over not knowing because it was the 3rd Saturday she said where he was and we told her and she started crying and we all hugged I had Finney most of my life because that was his name and the news got out me and my sisters posted on Instagram about it because all of my friends and followers loved pictures and videos of him so they were all devastated and the posts remain here to this day I think of him 24/7 and when my bestest friend heard about it she came over with stuff I love and she came to his funeral and we wore red lipstick (color of his collar) and kissed it and our lipstick is still on his urn I love you Finney and you will always be in my heart

I had a rabbit named Sabrina. I had her for about 9 or10 years. I was the day of the Eve of Passover and I went down to the basement to go feed her. When I was about to give her her food, I notice something was wrong. Her breathing was off and she didn't look good. Now, I was already told that she had water or something in her lungs and would't last no longer than a few weeks (she lived to about a year). And I notice her condition worsened. I carefully picked her up and brought her up stairs to call my mom, whom wasn't at home then, and was trying to find a phone and went up to my room to find my phone or a house phone. Then. I. Heard. A. Scary. Noise. It was coming from Sabrina. I got shocked and instantly dropped her and she was moving weirdly and then, she wasn't. I was basically bawling (still am while typing this out) and finally got in contact with my mom. She came home and she and my siblings and my family's cleaning lady, Lalita, helped me out and put her in a box. My mom and I raced to the vet (thank God that they were still open at the time) and already knew what happened. I was crying the whole trip back home and went to go to my room, trying to avoid the "spot" she died. I couldn't even go near the "spot" or down to the basement without becoming a puddling mess. I did eventually go down to do the sedar, but didn't really stay long and went back into my room to cry the whole holiday. I have her urn, in a bag, on my shelf in my room still. It's been a few years since I lost her and could have another rabbit again. But now I have one named Yang. he's very cute and sweet and funny and lovable! He's in really good health and had no problems (other than when he was in my room hopping around, he would pee and poop by the walls and corners. Now he has his own room that has a gate around it so he won't ruin the floors, like he did to mine.) Still love him though! Still miss Sabrina and my first bunny, Roger.

I grew up around doggos. My last three puppers really affected me. First, it was my grandmothers dog, Boy Dog (his actually name) who was 22. I didn't really grow up with him or form an attachment with him, but not having him around whenever I visited felt off for a long time. Next was my dog, Bailey. He died in his sleep from a small heart attack from heart murmur. He was 13 and acted like the lil pupper he was till the day he died. Like Boy Dog, he died in his sleep, peacefully. Most recently, my other grandmothers dog, bingo died. He died last year. He was old, deaf, and going blind. He was the same age as Bailey but the polar opposite. He was lazy and spent most of his time sleeping. He had to be put down because he was bloated with tumors. The vet let him eat almost all of the pet treats before putting him down. Pets are the highlights of life and they are the reason for people to live in happiness a lot, but they die to, just like people.

I’m so sorry, Illy. Losing a pet can be so devastating. It’s even worse when you can’t say bye for the last time, or you said bye for the last time, but not at the right time. Just know that we’re here for you, okay? Cheeto loved you, and he’s so happy now. At least they noticed it when they did. Again, I’m so, so sorry. We’re here for you. You can talk to us. I love you. You've got a good fella there, glad he was there for you. People who don't have pets can't possibly understand the connection. One of my cats is in kidney failure now & will be put down on Monday. It's sad for me, but he's in a bad way and I can't watch him suffer like this. He was a rescue and I figure he's had a better life with me than without me. So, I can certainly sympathize with anyone facing that kind of trauma.

6:14 while it is true that in japan, tattoos are associated with the yakuza, it's actually different for foreigners to Japan. Most people in japan understand that foreigners tend to have cultural differences around tattoos. Basically if you're an american visiting japan and someone sees a tattoo you have, they won't immediately assume you're part of the yakuza since you are a foreigner. That said, going to an onsen can be a concern for foreigners with tattoos, so one of the best things to do is go later in the day so you have less to worry about. Then again I'm not Japanese nor have I ever been to japan, all of what I have said is based on research on the internet, and things a good friend of mine who's heavily invested in Japanese culture has said about the subject.
@Chonkyct2E3 жыл бұрын

They will not do a body check looking for tattoos, but if they find out you do have one, the staff will ask you to leave. Ex: if another user reports to the staff that you have a tattoo. Happened to my friend when she forgot to hide her tattoo. One way would be to hide the tattoo with taping, another one if you have a generous budget is to book a ryokan (Japanese style hotel) with a private onsen in your room or a place where you can do a time reservation for using the hot spring by yourself. Here in Japan you might not be able to go to pools and gyms as well (but I think if you can hide the tattoos it should be fine). But don’t worry, people won’t be rude to you because you have tattoos. The no tattoos rule is a way to prohibit the yakuza without directly prohibiting them.

I went to japan with my girlfriend and we tried going to the hotel bath at 3 in the morning, so no one would complain about the tattoos. I was lucky and mine was empty, but my girlfriend went to the female one and the two old japanese ladies there sent her away. She was kind of sad, but we understand their culture sees tattoos differently than ours :)

I’ve been struggling to write this comment for 5 minutes so I’m just gonna say: I understand the pain of losing a cat unexpectedly and so fast that you just want to give up then and there. I know one minute everything’s fine and the next minute is everything your scared to face. It’s okay to have that moment, and it’s okay to have that moment with no “real” reaction no tears or anything. Please don’t stop yourself from experiencing grief, it will only keep hurting if you don’t let yourself grief. I hope anyone who has gone through the pain of losing a pet is able to experience that grief and eventually feel better ❤️🩹.
