Hello fam, so this was my first time visiting Halesi. I went there with my family and met many relatives. Our main purpose of the visit was to attend a Wang(it's like praying to God all together and also we get blessed). I'm sorry I know only this much about Wang. So while we were there we got to explore many caves which carry significant importance. They have deep meanings and in this video you'll get some ideas and insights about Maratika or Halesi Cave. Apart from knowledge, there will also be entertaining moments and some breathtaking sceneries. So this video is packed with almost everything: knowledge, culture, tradition, fun and dancing and emotions.
In this video you'll understand the meaning of Maratika(what it means and what it refers to), you'll see some historic caves associated with Guru Rinpoche and Mahadev, you'll also find out what Halesi is like and learn a bit about Sherpa culture hopefully.
