I live in VA too! Shenandoah is my favorite national park, but I may be bias lol. Done many hikes there and it never gets old! Hope you continue to enjoy it as much as I do!

Ive definitely felt the random loneliness before. And even knowing 'I shouldn't feel this way' doesn't really seem to help. Some things that helped me included prayer (sounds like you have that down), meditation (that can look different for everyone), exerise, setting goals, and most importantly sitting woth the loneliness and using some introspection. Its good to feel uncomfortable sometimes. 😊 As for National Parks, the fees go to helping keep the parks nice. As well as the workers wages, ammenities, etc. great video!

I just wanted to say that I just finished studying for my engineering licensure exam while working full time and I passed about a month ago but I have not recovered! When it's just that constant effort to study/work/keep up with your housework, etc. even though I'm not studying anymore I just feel like that time immediately got filled up with other responsibilities and work. I think I need a vacation too😂

Totally agree with what you say about loneliness. Recently I feel extremely disconnected from people around me... Everyday I have classes, have conversations with my classmates and occasionally share some silly thoughts with my friends. But that's all. My best friend and I became estranged this year. I feel like I'm nothing but a NPC to this world. It seems unreasonable to say cause I have supportive parents and some friends I can turn to. I'm not alone, but I'm so lonely. Tomorrow I would go to a therapy. Hope everything would work out.

First, take a deep breath. Second, school sucks.....OK, there I said it....the elephant in the room. 🐘 😎 However, keep your eye (and your appendage) on the final goal. You WILL look back at this and be grateful. There are a lot of things to be grateful for when you are in your situation. You have an awesome apartment, without annoying roommates. You have a car when a lot of students don't. I was a late student, including grad school and I switched it up by staying at Inns/bed & breakfast hotels to study in a new environment. Yes, it was expensive to need a "spa" atmosphere, but it helped me greatly. I worked full-time and I was in school full-time. There was no time to sleep and caffeine pills did nothing. I would do all-nighters and then walk into school and take the exam. I got an A, but at what cost? I was done for the day, yet some exams happened on the same day. I don't know if you are working a job, and if not, there's another thing to be thankful for.......as well as remembering that you got excepted into a great school. I know, we forget these things b/c a mountain of issues develop once we are enrolled. Books....🤑 Just remember, you have 6.41 THOUSAND subscribers cheering you on. I had, maybe two people. 🙄 Btw, I found a wonderful therapist (woman) during my school struggles and she helped me stay sane. 🙃

Oh dude yeah my day always feels like a loop.. but I do myself no justice because I spend most my time in the house playing xbox, making youtube videos, watching content, going to the gym every 2 days or going for the occasional night walk with my bro(s) around the general area nearby to me as I live in the countryside. I guess somethings dont change even if you get a job or have friends 🤷🏻♂️ Hope you're doing well man

i don't usually comment on youtube videos but i really felt the need to let you know this. i feel like in a way, you were called to make this vlog and talk about the "random" things mentioned in the video because your words and deep thinking actually influences people a lot more than you may think. at least it did for me. what you discussed about loneliness is something that i also struggle with as a 22 year old and just like you said, it's really hard to explain since there's actually nothing wrong with your life - but yet you still feel alone. i think it's just a part of being human and i try to tell myself that this too shall pass because nothing lasts forever. i truly appreciate your honesty and genuineness because its a rare quality to have nowadays. you should really consider starting a podcast series (could be either asmr or non-asmr style!) and discuss deep topics like you did in this vlog. i would for sure tune in and take a lot from your words of wisdom. anyways thanks for uploading this and ill continue to watch and support you as a silent viewer!

Mac, it's okay to feel loneliness once in a while, but if it becomes constant, then you need to seek help in dealing with it. You're going through a period in your life when you are comparing yourself with other people in your age range where they are in their lives (career, marriage, family) and you need to stop that. Once you do, you'll be much happier.
