Since your hair is in a short stage, you would have to brush it in small sections and finger coil it to get the curl shape back. Ya curls are poppin sis!😍

If you do try a wash and go again you can use the same products and finger coil it, when it’s dry you can separate them. Watch jaelah majette & kaice alēa

I think you should finger coil it and use a denman brush and there are denman brushes way cheaper than $20 at Walmart. Also, figure out if you hair low or high porosity hair because you might not be able to use cold water.

You have beautiful hair! You do need to use more products. You're going to need to take your time. Try using more moisturizing leave in conditioners like Mielle Organics. They're great! You may want to use an oil after your hair dries to break the cast and soften your hair. Just a few tips. Sometimes it takes a few tries before you know what your hair likes.

You need to watch ericka ruiz. She has similar hair length and has done wash and gos. She also has quite a lot of tip videos. If your hair is dry and you comb it out, it turns into an afro. That's why when people define their hair and brush/comb it it's either damp or wet. You need to section, use a leave in and rake through your hair then use the gel and rake through your hair. Your hair should be damp/wet. Try figuring out your hair porosity (low or high), low porosity prefers thin in consistency products because the cuticle is shut whilst high porosity prefers thick products because the cuticle is open. I like cantu products so don't be discouraged to use cantu.

Sweetheart. Your curl pattern is amazing. Some of us would give anything to have those curls after washing and having a few products. Check on Lorisa Nelson on KZbin she has a similar texture. She uses a lot of Mane Choice products. Check out her channel. Don’t be discouraged. U just have to get used to it.
