I get your point, the Ryzen 9 would be a better CPU allrounder. But the customer of the PC didn't want to game on this PC. This build is focused on Video-Editing and other productive workloads, where you need a lot of memory. The 14900K offers better stability and speed with 4 Ram modules which is needed for this build. I hope you now understand why we didn't went with the 7950x3d.

Yes, I also like these small kinds of builds. They are much more mobile and don't take up so much space as a "normal" PC. There were some nice small PC Cases shown at Computex which I have really liked.

Made a mistake, the side fans should be pulling air in for positive case pressure. This keep the case from acting like a dust Vacuum.

I used to feel that way but now it just inspires me to get a job in tech so i can afford parts like this. But besides, liquid cooling etc is highly overrated. Looks cool but if youre building a pc part by part on budget its impossible to work with. Minimum cooling gains.

Did you use ek thermal pads on the graphics card and if you did can you tell me the size and the amount of how many did you use. Also it would be very helpful if you could list the cables you used from custom mod and their mm. I am new to pc building and i don’t understand what to get from their website

Yes I have used the thermal pads that came with the EK Waterblock included. I unfortunately can't put links in here, but if you go to their website, search for your specific Waterblock and then you scroll down you can find the user manual where it lists which thermal pads should go where. For the cables I also haven't known which ones to get, so I ordered the "standard" lengths which are used in this build. Do you have any other questions?

The fittings I have used are the following: EK-Quantum Torque HDC 14 - Gold 10x EK-Quantum Torque Rotary 90° - Gold 11x EK-Quantum Torque Extender Static MF 7 - Gold 4x EK-Quantum Torque Extender Static MF 28 - Gold 4x EK-Quantum Torque Micro Plug - Gold 7x EK-Quantum Torque Plug - Gold 4x EK-Quantum Torque Push-In Adapter M 14 - Gold 5x EK-Quantum Torque Drain Valve - Gold 1x EK-Quantum Torque Rotary 45° - Gold 2x EK-Quantum Torque Rotary Offset 14 - Gold 2x But the amounts will only be correct if you have the exact same Mainboard, GPU and Waterblocks. If you have another Motherboard or another GPU Waterblock it could be, that you may need some other fittings.

I got these cables from Cablemod. They have a Cable Configurator where you can customise the cables however you like it. In the configurator you need to choose ModFlex Cables to get the golden colour. I hope this has helped you.

These are all EK fittings. You can find them directly on EKs website. I can tell you the exact fittings that I have used, but this would only be useful for you if you got the exact same specs. That means you need to have the same Motherboard, the same GPU and the same Waterblocks. Otherwise it could be, that you need some other fittings, like more or other extenders or offsets. I hope I could help you with this.

The only real difference is the gpu being the asus strix 4090 not the asus tuf 4090. So that would be helpful I was having trouble with ensuring I have all the right fittings. The maximum temperatures in CinebenchR24 and 3d Mark were as following: GPU: Maximum Temperature of 49°C at a power consumption of 500 Watts CPU: Maximum Temperature of 76°C at a power consumption of 350 Watts Out of interest, what are the temperatures you are reaching? And what is your CPU cooler? Maybe I can help and we find a solution.

You can use the 128 GB Ram. But you most likely can’t run them at 6000 MHZ. But if you are lucky your CPU can handle the speed with 128 GB. When it comes to some errors, try to reduce the speed of the RAM.

This PC was build for video editing and some other productive workloads. The I9 because of its fast 24 Cores and the RTX 4090 because of its great performance in these kinds of workloads. Otherwise it also wouldn't have that much RAM build into it.

This PC has 7TB of SSD storage, but it could be upgraded to even more with SATA SSDs or HDDs.

If you would max everything out, every HDD and SSD Slot you would end up with 136TB of Storage. That means, you build in 4x 24TB HDDs in the back and 5x 8TB NVME SSDs on your board. But that is very unlikely to happen. I hope that I could help you with that.

Yes, it is one of the most used cases that you can currently find, but that makes it also one of the easiest cases to build in. That is why i have chosen this case, because it is probably the right one for my first water cooled PC's when I don't want something to complicated. So the perfect case for a "beginner".

I use the gloves to keep every component clean, like glass side panels or the Lian Li Fans here. But they are nothing special, just gloves to protect the parts.
