I love how far pc building has gone for it to become modern art. the amount of creativity being realized by willing to go the extra mile on custom parts is so nice to see. I want to have a go at something like this once I graduate from college. I still don’t have the know how yet :P

There was a time when i was completely against the concept of water cooling or custom looping.....but seeing art like these......i have to change my mind
@mbnremix4334 ай бұрын
It is a good idea to have a water cooling system on your pc for a good heat performance but If you are looking for reliability, you should consider air cooling first , the copper is susceptible to rust and corrosion over time, not to mention the evaporation of water (even other professional fluids)in the pipes or the weakness of the pump.Despite this precision in work, leakage may occur over time.

С такими талантами и набором инструментов, водяное охлаждение ставят вне корпуса ПК. Внутри корпуса оставляют только ЦП с вентилятором прямо поверх водоблока.
@albertera5 ай бұрын

You should have used 5/8" copper tubing, you can use it with 16mm fittings. Also, filling the pipes pre bending with sand and crimping the end prevents the deformation of the bent part. Then after that cut to length to get rid on the crimped/kinked ends.
@Blkhurst5 ай бұрын
Thanks for the tips! I was not aware of the 5/8" tubing (Screwfix did not stock it). Will have to use this on my next build, although it gave me an excuse to run off some custom fittings haha. I was lucky enough to not have to pay for material or labour.

I would love a detailed explanation about crafting the copper tubes, the heating up/ bending/ sanding/ polishing. De process of inserting them in to the fittings? I've seen build threads where the compression ring from the fittings causes scratches on the beautiful tubing, you didn't seem to have that problem or have solved it in some way. I'd love to read/ hear more about that process :)
