Such a beautiful area! Last summer I hiked and wild camped on south side of the valley, towards Lysebotn. I also struggled to find a dry, flat spot. Thankfully I managed to find a beautiful area. I woke up to a group of sheep that were really friendly and stayed with me whilst I was drinking my cup of coffee

I didn’t film it but I also camped at Lyseboten at the side of a huge waterfall, stunning place!

You CAN actually camp on someones property, thats the whole point of the ‘Right to Roam’ act. Just not on cultivated land or closer than 200m to a building.

Fair enough. I’d never encourage camping on someone’s property though, just makes life easier 😊

It was great fun. Will definitely go back again but further north. A freestanding tent would be handy though.

It was spectacular. I went on a ferry right through the fjord and even that stunning. Wish I could have spent more time there and got a couple more camps in!

Great video mate. When I was watching it I was thinking that you could get some amazing “stills” from your video. Laughed out loud at your water source dilemma for your meal. Nice work pal 👍🤣
@boolay75Ай бұрын
Haha, I’d rather have snorted that dehydrated meal than use the water from that!

Looks like you had a great time. 🙂👍 Dont quite recognize the area from the map. Only been to Preikestolen in Lysefjorden
@boolay75Ай бұрын
I tried to avoid Preikestolen as I just thought it would be too busy. I’ll put a link in the description in case you’re interest in the route.
