My First Winter in Japan | Kinaya ko ba ang lamig?

Hey hunnies ! Winter started late this year but that's not a reason not to share with you my first ever experience of winter !
Firstly, it is cold, YES.. but it's nothing you can't manage ! I can't believe myself but I love the snow ! It's so magical and you feel like you're in a story book while you watch the snow fall under a lit sky .

Hi Anne Sensei! How was coming up with English lessons for Japanese students? I am so anxious. This is my ultimate dream, to teach in Japan since I took Education as my course/program and chose English as my specialization but I don't think I am creative enough so far to think of immediate fun lessons for the Japanese students just like how an ALT supposed to do. Do you think I am hopeless as I am now?

Hi Jannie ! I can't assess your teaching ability for I am not in the position to do that 😅 We all have this thought inside our head that we might not be spontaneous or smart enough but I want to share you my experience here: 1. the schools make it sure that I receive the lesson plan 2. You have plenty of time.. like all the time in the world.. to prepare for your classes or emergency lessons. So if you aren't the kind of teacher that can think on your feet, make sure that you have a ton of extra ideas/ activities prepared that can be modofied acc to your JTE's request 😊 Good luck! Xoxo

Te kailangan ba graduate ka ng education para maging alt? According kasi sa mga websites na nabasa ko any degree will do pero narinig ko sa isang pinay alt youtuber Di daw tinatanggap pag di educ graduate. Tsaka pano pag tapos na yung 2020 Olympics? Konting alt nalang ba tatanggapin nila? Business kasi yung course ko.

Hi Ignitio! First, as long as you are a 4-year college course diploma holder, you are eligible to apply to the JET programme regardless your course or program. Second, teaching experience is not a requirement yet highly boosts your application. Third, JET Programme has been welcoming particioants from the Philippines since (need to reassure this) 2014 and the number of shortlisted candidates increases every year. This doesn't solely depend on the Tokyo Olympic on 2020. The number of participants each year still depends on the result of the screening process. The most competent applicants get accepted despite the current events in Japan or Philippines. Hope this helps! 😊
