Sapporo Snow Festival & Otaru Snow Lantern Festival | Filipino JET

February is the highlight of winter in Hokkaido because this is when the winter festivals all around the prefecture take place!
This is my very first time to see the amazing Sapporo Snow Festival and the ever-romantic Otaru Snow Lantern Festival!
I hope you enjoy as I tour you around with these few video clips I got from both the most famous snow festivals in Hokkaido!

Those snow creations are so cool! Thanks for sharing your experience of Hokkaido, it's super useful. One small tip - the music volume is a bit loud, it's sometimes hard to hear you speak (e.g. 9:40). But otherwise your videos are fantastic, please keep making them! :)

Hey Anne, I strongly recommend that you get a camera stabilizer specially that you cover alot of good places there in Japan. Might be a good idea for your BF if ever he wants to give you a gift 😁

Hello sensei! Which part in Hokkaido do you live? I'll be moving to Hokkaido in March and be working as an ALT as well, specifically in Abira. I've never experienced snow in my entire life so I'm so excited but at the same time a little bit worried. What month did you depart to Japan? Please give me some tips to survive the cold weather. Hi Arj ! I came to Japan through the JET Programme and got deployed August of last year 😊 Hokkaido is a beautiful prefecture ! Sure it is cold but that's winter is about ! Fun in the cold 😉 I bet, you'll love the snow here 😍 I personally didn't have a hard time coping up with winter. Kayang kaya basta always dress up wisely 😊😉 See you soon in the the Winter Wonderland of Japan 😍
