My First Winter Snapper! Catch & Cook Date

Snapper are great eating fish but generally, we don't catch them in the shallows during winter here in Ruby Bay.
This was a first for me and was the best fish Julie had ever eaten.

I have been on that track many times on the ICE train. I worked in Germany for 13 years playing 3159 shows over there often doing 40-50 concerts in a row with out a break. You will love coming home one day brother.

Clay you LUCKY fella, I'm here in Wisconsin right on the Great Lakes, no such thing as a chance to catch salt water fish for dinner let alone Snapper, my favorite small fish. Tried to order it as the special at my local Italian bistro here, 3 bastards ordered the last 3 and these grown men had the waiter debone their fish, they couldn't handle having the whole fish head to tail on their plate, and I had to watch that and then have the waitress come out and say sorry but we ran out of snapper 20 minutes after I'd ordered it. What I wouldn't give to have just the CHANCE to run my kayak out and try to catch some fresh snapper. You talk up Kahwai so much I want to try that too.

We’ve always had a couple buckets of seawater when filleting. First is where they all go until filleting is finished. Second is the final rinse to make sure there’s no scales or muck on them before drying with paper towel and bagging🍺🍺

I'm the same with contaminated 🐟 🐠. I kill the fish immediately, as they are suffocating when out of the water. Then gut them and then ice. Does Maxel make reels in the egg beater style. Bought a maxel overhead reel and what a wicked reel. You might like to try a glowbite lure with the flashing lights quite unreal. This is one time that I prefer pink. Great to see you enjoying life with your friend. All the best.
