Actually, ball bearing "pivots" not "arbors." An Arbor is the axle, not the pivot point.

yes, there is hanging weight about 2.5kg. Its fall down in two days, then must be winding up. The escapement is "periodically brake" the weight by pendulums. Without pendulums the weight fall down in few second and the gears are fast spinning.
