Strange ridding style mate are you new to dirt bikes. Not being rude but watch some riding skills videos. It seems like you stab the throttle on and off you need to wind out the gears and use clutch to keep power up. Nice trails in America here in Australia we can't ride anywhere it's not fair.

I appreciate the advice, but I've been riding for more than 25 years, not new to dirt bikes at all. This was my first time riding woods, I was alone and very far from any help if I got injured or lost, so I was being extra cautious and just taking my time.
