Great Job Hunter, I think you are an impressive young man. In my life I always made the mistake of thinking it would be perfect each thing I did. Your approach and willing to experiment and redo things, your lifelong learning approach is remarkable. As an old guy I am learning from you to learn and practice. I enjoy your videos keep up the good work. Thanks.

you should check out the proper way of doing 3m double sided. you actually don't have to peal off the entire strip. this way you can align a side without worrying about messing up.

Nice work, I'm curious on how you did the top corners, last time I did mine that was an area I struggled getting to look nice. And I have a better idea now on how to re-wrap around the grill now Thanks for your willingness to show the what all you need to do. (Kinda wish there was a better angle) Either way you killed it on the whole car!

Hunter I plan on wrapping my first car, I have a question can you go over the edges as I know the for jambs,trunk and hood jams arnt wrapped what was your strategy to have the wrap stay in the creases? Thanks
@HunterDirection2 жыл бұрын
That's a great question! I am actually planning another wrap focused episode in the next few releases going over the jambs and fixing some old places that lifted. I will be sure to have lots of my strategies for them in that episode! Thank you for the support!

how much wrap you have used for this car ? i need that information please!

I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of wrapping if paint is in good condition ... the finish just doesn't look quite as good as clear. However, if paint needs work (as Santorin usually does now that it's over 20 years old), I think you knocked it out of the park. Cactus green is neat, but this looks fantastic in comparison. Good stuff man! Happy to see if you're sticking with it. Are you entertaining a K04 build on this car? If so, on your own? I think you're capable of doing it.
@HunterDirection2 жыл бұрын
I completely agree! I wouldn't have wrapped it had the paint not been messed up to begin with. I am thrilled to hear you like the color I chose and the outcome! The support means alot to me. Also yes! I will definitely be upgrading the turbos when my ko3s end up giving out. I've still got to narrow it down between k24s, ko4s, and frankenturbos however. I appreciate your confidence in me and the support! Thank you.

@@HunterDirection Of course. My opinion (I'm sure others would love to chime in about this) - Out of all of those options .. pay extra and get some genuine Borgwarner K04s. From a powerband prospective, you can't beat it .. K24s will give you more up top but I question their reliability / longevity. Also, you won't have to worry about WG actuator failures / fatigue, WG flappers getting loose, and the car will boost normally .. for a long time.
@HunterDirection2 жыл бұрын
@@tyler141 I have definitely been leaning towards the genuine ko4s for those exact reasons haha. They are proven to be fantastic on this engine and are the most reliable out of the options I've found so far. Thanks for the advice!

Hey Man! How is that VVivid wrap holding up after 1 year? I’m about to wrap my stage 3 B5 S4. Thanks!
@HunterDirection Жыл бұрын
It's still holding up quite well! The only areas that need a touch up are the ones that I should have done differently since it was my first time!
@JeansBiturboA6 Жыл бұрын
I’m glad to hear that! I was in between the 3M and VViVid but I was really wondering if the big price difference is really worth it. My buddy knows what he is doing so I think I’ll get the VViVid. I’ll just be helping him… thanks man! Great content!

How much does the wrapping cost please?
@HunterDirection2 жыл бұрын
I will add it all up for you once I get the door jambs and some more trim done. I ordered in bulk so I've got a lot extra. Less than what I paid in other words haha. Thanks for the support!
