Hey there lad, was just curious if you were going to make a video about all this stuff going on with the sanctions list and all these boats being arrested and all these crew members being let go?!! But this video was amazing and I love how you put some of his pictures in with his story so we could better visualize the story he was telling!!

That chef was great telling his story of working on a yacht. Thanks so much Captain Tristan for yet another crew story.

Thanks for another excellent crew story. Highlights all the things that a land based chef needs to seriously think about before embarking in yachting. No brigade as back up, no fixed menu but instead catering to the changing needs or whims of guests and the dietary requirements of crew, sea sickness, supply issues etc etc, but also highlighting the positives and the fact that he has no desire to return to restaurants. Thank you Chef. Thank you Captain.

I think a Chef’s job is tough with long hours and few breaks. However there is no more important crew member in regards to morale. On any ship you need a good cook or the crew revolts.
@cathydrumobich90452 жыл бұрын
Not to say the owners as well. Without a good cook the owners will not be happy.

Working in my younger days on a small coaster with a crew of six, the cook was the most important member of the crew!! The food was amazing!! My next ship was a crew of four where the deckhands went day about with the cooking!! Made me respect the cook even more!! My meals were 100% effort! Zero taste quality!!

Hi Tristan. Another interesting vid from you, and I look forward to your next one. One comment, as this is a comment box, the effect you are using that moves the shot closer and then back, is not needed in my opinion, it is an effect for the sake of an effect and distracts from the content. It would be interesting to see what other viewers think of that. Keep up the good work, stay safe.

I love your stuff, but mate (ehm I mean Captain), you need better lighting. Skin tones burns out, the image is flat (dimensionless) and everything looks unnatural. Pro lighting gives us viewers a much better experience.
