I'm always checking the reviews on @LEGO sets from @TiagoCatarino and happened to find a great idea on making the full pyramid from @BriQFoundation . But I had to see what I could come up with on my own. Here's what I got!

Excellent job, it looks so much better as full pyramid and the mirrored tunnel on the inside is class.

@@ngoriiaklcoreyjohnson Lego should have a set that’s order only with the rest of the Pyramid and building instructions for those who want it. I’m having my doubts about a 2nd one. It looks nice when completed, but currently where it’s standing it also looks awesome and the add on wouldn’t fit. Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Empire State Building and Gizeh pyramid in my collection. Now gonna see if I can find the 5000+ piece Tai Mahal (10256) somewhere for a descent price.

Just ordered a 2nd set yesterday. Will also make the pyramid complete. Ordered some extra pieces so I can completely mirror the pyramid plus one extra piece to make the back side not have a door. Can’t wait for it to arrive. 😉 I’ll leave the original set original and just add half a pyramid.

@@ngoriiaklcoreyjohnson Will do as soon as I received it. Since I’m gonna waste a lot of pieces cause I want the front completely original I ordered the backside of the pyramid on Ali. That way I can do it for around 50 euros instead of 120. Not completely fair, but only releasing half a pyramid isn’t fair also. 🤷🏻♂️ It will arrive here halfway oktober so it will take a while, but I’ll upload a video as soon as I’m done. Have a nice day.

Hi there, i don't exactly like the video style, but i am here for the lego build and you did a great job modding that horrible half set into more then decent. Thank you for showing and inspiring to not just go with the instructions, but to imagine and create, which is what lego always was for me. Maybe if i find a discount i will scratch my Piramid itch and get two of them, then Lego group can thank you for the sale.
@ngoriiaklcoreyjohnson3 ай бұрын
Aye I appreciate the feedback! What didn't you like about the video style, and what kinds of videos work more for you? I'm still trying to figure it all out, so nothing's set in stone. The inspiration, that's what it's all about, hope you can get a couple to work with soon!

Nice mod! What I did is no interior for the second half, no tunnels, no ramp with the gold top piece. Yes, in this way you'll need some extra bricks, but then you got a cleaner look, because these tunnels inside is pretty narrow. 2 studs is too wide for me. I also dug out the entrance for the front part, so now you can actually "go inside". :) Sadly it only exist in virtual, but when I'll have more space, I'll build the two sets together, with my modifications. :)

Well done. I like how you were able to use the pieces within the set. Was it too difficult to build the inner tunnels mirrored?
@ngoriiaklcoreyjohnson2 ай бұрын
It was tricky because the front side was impacted a bit by flipping some things, and because some pieces I couldn’t just use backwards, I had to find its opposite somewhere else within the set!

Well solved!!!! Lego suggesting to buy the set twice and slap it together is a lazy low blow tho. The set is overpriced, a no effort fast build, has inconsistent color shades, and only looks good from a single angle.
@ngoriiaklcoreyjohnson Жыл бұрын
Thanks! I agree 100%. It’s too lazy and it doesn’t even look right just two sets slapped together, Nevermind opening them like that to see the tunnels not even match. Lego can do better haha but it’s good we can have some creative liberty with it.

@ngoriiaklcoreyjohnson11 ай бұрын
Hey thank you! Sure, and let me know if this makes sense - I basically built up to that part of the interior of the pyramid, and then started, as much as I could, building on the opposite side - so if the instructions were calling for a piece to be put on the right side, I'd put it on the left side. If it was facing to the left in the image, I'd build it facing to the right and put it on the opposite side. It worked for the most part because I was able to find pieces to keep doing it while keeping the front the same. A lot of guessing and testing to pull out as many pieces as I could to help build it in the opposite direction as the instructions.

Hi, I also used two pyramid sets to expand the pyramid and the river. I think I expanded the river different from what you did in the video. I only used pieces from the river and its foundation to expand 03 more rows of studs. I'm pretty sure I didn't use any illegal techniques, but the two corners of the river area got a little bent upward. I now question whether it was bent even before the expansion, but now more visible. Do you get this problem with your set?
@ngoriiaklcoreyjohnson3 ай бұрын
I've noticed things like that before, but I don't think I had the issue with this set. It was pretty flat all through the build process from what I remember!

This set recently just caught my eye and it’s disappointing that it’s only one sided. I honestly didn’t mind coughing up the $130 for this set but $260 for the same set ehhh… probably would end up one day bitting the bullet on this one. ** great video btw I’m a visual learner then people telling me what to do. Hopefully one day I come back to this video to help me out on this set.
