I flew for the same airline for 31 years. Prop your door open with your luggage while doing your room check. Fly safe.

That's a great idea! The one on camera is just for show, I do a real check beforehand haha

I love your content and no BS attitude! Do you have any advice for someone in their early 50s getting ready to start applying to airlines? My youngest graduates from HS next year. Also, I don't have a 4-year degree but currently working on my Associates. I do have 18 years of f2f customer service behind me though.

Haha thank you! The customer service experience will definitely help! Just don't give up, apply to all the airlines as often as they'll let you!

Try and get yourself on a flight through Des Moines in the summer so you could go at least to the Farmer's Market on a Saturday morning. That would be a great snack on the layover there.

Hi Kelly! I really enjoyed your vid. I started following you about a month ago when your channel was new because I love living vicariously through travel videos…ha, ha. I live in LA so it was cool to find a flight attendant whose home base was our home airport (LAX). I got so excited when hearing your education background. I’m Wolf Pack alumni as well. I never meet people here in LA who have gone to University of Nevada, Reno so it was fun to hear your story. Love your videos and am looking forward to following many more of your adventures! 💙🤍

Customer service training at some airlines is somtimes refered to as boot camp. I am guessing f/a training is worse.

QUESTION: Would speaking a 2nd language improve your chance of being hired?--Would you get a specific/better home base because direct flights from the airport to the foreign country?

Hi, that was another interesting video. But here's a tip. you always do the burglar check. When you hit the curtains......lower a little deeper. You know where the sensitive spots of a burglar are. 🤣🤣 Greetings from northern Germany.
