My Floss Storage System (full look)

I initially stored mine in the larger size boxes and i got all my DMC into three of them. I too have them on their floss drops but because ive purchased the floss for all the patterns I have I put the additional 1-10 skeins into the bags as well. I have since migrated to leaving that as additional storage/travel cases. I am hanging the master set of DMC and the other special flosses I’m setting up exactly like your cosmos in the small containers but still on their floss tags. Thank you for your video!!!

Thanks to a previous video you put up I bought some of these and find them so handy. I checked online and Target had them so as I wanted to make sure about the size I headed out to my nearest store (website said they were in stock). Thinking they would be by the plastic storage I searched there. They weren’t. Hunted everywhere without finding them. No staff in sight to ask. As I headed towards customer service I remembered I needed printer paper and went via the stationary department. Low and behold, there they were.

So glad you found them. Isn’t it a strange section to put them? They are now in the craft and stationary section. I had thought they stopped carrying them for a while and happened upon them there a while ago.

They are not in the plastic storage isle. I found them in the stationary sections where the craft supplies are located...glue, acrylic paints, unfinished wooden plaques...

Thanks for this video, I love seeing how other people are organizing their supplies! Aren’t those Sterilite boxes amazing? They work for more than just floss, they also work for art supplies such as pencil crayons, pencils, felt pens, paint brushes, pastels etc. If you have a lot of meds and/or supplements one could be used for those. And I’m sure there are a lot of other things they could be used for in the craft/hobby world as well. Mine came as a stack of three actually (I’m in Canada), now that I see people are using them for their embroidery floss I want more! I haven’t done cross stitch or embroidery for a long time, but I’m thinking about getting back into it.

@@pennycandyys Agree. I watercolor paint and use a whole set for that as well. Plus my knitting supplies. 😁

@@SimplyThirdStreet I have been thinking sewing supplies, but yes! Knitting, crocheting, punch needling as well as rug hooking supplies, the uses are probably just about endless.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is floss? Im assuming this is not the dental type?. I found your page looking for info on a Singer 99k ( which was a great video. Thank you!)and started looking at your other videos when i saw this one. Thanks
