My Focus Station || Teradek RT CTRL.3 & SmallHD Cine 7

SmallHere's a walkthrough of my Focus Station that's worked for Me the last 2 years. A lot of my shoots I don't have a 2nd AC or I need to be mobile, so my build is based on being efficient.

Very jealous of how well thought out this rig is mate, definitely stealing ideas like that Cam Jam handle mount, be looking for a different handheld solution for a while! For the Hoodman sunhood you have, can I check that it is the "4inch to 10inch Viewfinder Hood" (product code HVF-46) that you have? Extremely valid point about maintaining consistent distance, definitely a culprit of getting to close!

Really appreciate the kind feedback! 😄 Glad it's inspired some rigging ideas. The sunhood was one item (2 pieces in the box) from B&H 2 years ago, the model numbers are HSGN and HSGNE (the latter is the extender). But it's 'no longer available' 😕 You'll have to try resellers/Hoodman if there's any stock remaining. Hope you can find it as it's been amazing!!

Have you looked at the kondor blue quick release rosette?

Yep tried it ages ago 😕 Unfortunately couldn't find a way to adapt the male/female Rosette to the Kondor Blue Quick Release given the screws/receiving threads are for ¼"-20/ ⅜"-16

Loving the videos I'm an AC is Australia too! just picked up a kit secondhand but I'm missing the thumbscrew on the MDR.X :( Do you know where I can get a replacement or an alternative? Thanks again for making these videos keep it up!

Thank you very much and congrats on the RT kit 😊 Waving to You from Melbs! Same for Me when I purchased Mine. Best suggestion is to go to an independent trade store as they'll actually cater for imperial here in Aus (the one time Bunnings doesn't save the day haha). Google search didn't yield results, so I asked one of my local rental houses and they pointed Me to a nearby industrial area where a shop sold screws etc individually of all varieties and sizes (Allen key, flat head etc). So I got a bunch as spare for like $10!
