The highest I've ever seen from one of those turbos is 630whp and that was with tons of effort and having everything perfect. Frankly 560 is pretty good. You change the turbo and I bet it instantly picks up 100hp at the same boost.

That is absolutely nuts that thing caught on fire as badly as it did and it's still up and making power. I used to have a 1995 Ford Ranger Super 4.0 OHV with the dreaded 4R55E transmission with 134k miles on it and I only paid $500 for it. That thing was immaculate and it would lay an 11 for 75 feet with that 4.0L and a posi. It was 2WD. I loved that truck. It was an extended cab long bed. The LS engine didn't exist back when I owned it, but I would've loved to have swapped even a 4.8 into it with a Tremec 6060.

Fire suppression systems are not automated you have to pull the release switch and because of that they’re not pressurized all the time. If they were plastic they would just melt making them completely useless then you can say goodbye to your race car
