Camera Intro was very clean!! The way I keep going in my world is to take advantage of random impulses, for example I mined out a chunk down to deepslate using moss and it made me love Minecraft again because once the world is loaded, it's mine to use, to build in, to break down and to mess around with.

I have had many worlds, I like making new adventure with their own goals, some never even fought the dragon nor were they meant to. I spent most of today uploading all my ps4 worlds to realms and downloading them to bedrock on pc, then exporting them for preservation. Going through all these worlds was a walk down memory lane, a lot of confusion, and best part was most worlds had multiple older backed up versions saved as "parts" as if they were a story... because they are, my character's stories. Stories I had forgotten, but again after revisiting them, filled me with nostalgia and pride. Some of my older builds are amazing given that lack of redstone knowledge I used to have (ie. I made a hidden chest, and when you reveal it, the secret revealed jingle from zelda plays on note blocks. I haven't made note block songs in so long. Great video @ibxtoycat !

I love going through my old builds and updating them. I try to maintain the spirit of the original build, keep general shapes, and block palettes, etc. I mix building new things with going back to old builds to keep things fresh. I figure by the time I've updated all my old builds it would probably be time to update them again.

My world is turning 5 years old this summer. I cherish it, and when I log on, I feel truly at home. I agree with most of your points, but not when it comes to deleting chunks. I feel my anxiety rising as the world size goes up, and deleting irrelevant 1.18-1.19 chunks lessens that to a considerable degree. Plus, it always takes forever to make/export 3 gb backups (at least on Java)

To be brutaly honest, i lost my interest on Minecraft after playing Bedrock a few years. I recently started playing on my bf's Xbox 360 Minecraft and he still has TU4 or Beta 1.7.3 wich is my now favorite version of Minecraft. I started playing Videogames only a few years ago, when I met my bf and one of the games we played Was Minecraft, when the Nether Update came out. When I saw the older versions of Minecraft, like Beta 1.7.3, full Release 1.0 or even 1.8.2, i liked Beta 1.7.3 the most because it is for me how I imagine Minecraft to be and I can understand why so many people love this version. Minecraft Bedrock is missing something for me, i don't know what exactly it is but every time I Play Bedrock, i feel kinda depressed and enormously bored. I wish I had the same energy with playing modern Minecraft like when I started with my bf. At this point, i hope to play on my Xbox 360 World for a few months and port it at some point to the Xbox One Edition and from there to Bedrock, to get some sort of motivation boost for the future.
@jackmorgan15685 күн бұрын
Honestly same here. Fsr Bedrock on my Xbox is ridiculously slow, I'm talking 10+ minutes just to get to the homescreen, and even then the entire game is just a laggy mess. I even turned on keep inventory because of how many times I'd crash into something and die thanks to lag. I went back to the original Xbox one console edition a few months ago and honestly my experience playing the game has been so much better. I started in my old world from about 6 years ago and since then I've been finishing all my old projects that I never finished. Unfortunately I'm stuck in 1.12 whatever that is in console numbers but I genuinely find it so much more enjoyable of an experience. I'm hoping to make this my forever world!
@ThatCraZyGirLyXBL4 күн бұрын
@jackmorgan1568 Mojang / Microsoft should have let 4J Studios make the "Bedrock Edition". They did every Port of Minecraft Java, besides Pocket Edition. Console Legacy was Minecraft 1:1, besides the Crafting Menu. Even Redstone worked just like in Java and they let you do the exact Same things, like building on the Nether roof. 4J Studios did so man things right, like Doubled the speed of minecarts and Mojang still doesn't made these changes. They added an experimental toggle on Java, i know, but what keeps them from finally making the changes? It's not like the Game would break, if they would doubled the speed of minecarts or fixing bugs, wich actually break the Game or it's ambience. Horses don't have idle sounds, the caves are way to bright (for me, i miss the gamma setting from Console Legacy) and most structures generate less often than before or not at all. I had it multiple times that I bought a map from a villager and venture to the Map's marked location and theres nothing. I honestly don't know why Minecraft Bedrock is in such state but im sick of it. The Bedrock Version destroyed my interest in Minecraft and I hate Mojang (at least the Part of Mojang, who is responsible for Bedrock) for that. I loved the game and I still do, but not the newer versions. I think they should stop making New Content and start fixing the game. Regarding your issues with Minecraft on Xbox: several people told me it has something to do with File Encryption. Minecraft Bedrock originaly runs on UDP, but for Xbox that got changed because Microsoft didnt want people to download Free Add-Ons, Texture Packs ect. from the Internet. They want to force Minecraft players to buy that stuff on the marketplace. Because of that, i lost a really great Survival World and my Xbox Console wont Sync the data from the cloud, because it's Encrypted, wich Minecraft can't decipher. Another reason why the Bedrock version ruined Minecraft for me..

Mine is about like 7 years old by now, I don't play all the time, but I get back to it once or twice a year and then spend basically all my free time on it for a couple months. I personally am a builder so it is a variation of all types of bigger and smaller builds, some truly functional, most only functional in my head, but all there for an aesthetic whole of one larger vision that has crystallized for the world. Sessions of building and decorating are periodically disrupted to gather new resources. I have personally found, that I get a really bad concience if I spend my time with video games that leave me with nothing after I have spent weeks on them so this one big world that I am carrying into the future is basically the only way I can both justify to myself and enjoy spending time on Minecraft. I can't imagine starting new worlds for single sessions of play like I used to do way back in the days anymore.

That is pretty cool. I have I suppose 3 forever worlds. 1 on my x360 (never was connected to internet) that I started in 2013 and I go onto on the rare occasion (it’s in a different place then my house) 2nd one started in 2018 on my new (at that time) x one. Lasted 4 years till it corrupted. I was so mad. But your point of old world generation is a great point. In that world I have a double old world generation village. Half is Savanah and half is dessert. There is also a dessert temple that was my first ever and I unwittingly stepped on the trap. I was so confused (remember my first world, knew nothing of new updates or redstone past leaver). I miss that world and refuse to delete the corrupted file I can’t load. My current world is over a year 1 1/2 years now and I have tons of plans already for it that I’m no where near getting to. But the way I’m doing it is unique in that I’m haveing 6 eras in 6 villages corresponding to each level of armour. So leather and wood in dessert village, stone and chain in tundra, gold in Savannah, iron in Tiaga, and finally swamp and jungle for last two. I’m currently in Iron Age. And yea all gear sets are fully enchanted including wood. Very interesting times. I also can’t move onto next era till certain goals are accomplished. And now that you have reminded me about why not delete chunks I will never do it again. Yay to forever world 3.0 or would it be 3.1 haha you have actually inspired me to put a temp ice farm back in the snow village I have. Thanks

I started a world in 2019 to make it my long term world and to defeat the dragon cause I never did. I have yet to defeat the wither cause you know bedrock. But I love playing it. Currently draining an ocean monument i defeated. Goals are important. I got bored early last year because I didn't have goals and because my recent save got corrupted. But the randomly fixed itself after getting a new Xbox in October of last year so I've been playing since. Also for me exploring is a very fun thing. I'll grab an elytra and 3 stacks of fireworks and just fly out like 30,000 blocks just to explore. Which has lead to like 3GB for a world file which is fun to backup and load up 💀

It failed to load after the 2022 update and was “corrupted “. Lucky I had a few years older version in my saves as it loaded but I had to delete a lot of saves. @@anix2457 that would make sense. On my old Xbox I couldn't create new olds before deleting an old one. It wasn't fully corrupted more of that any time I would load it, it would would just crash after getting halfway through of loading.

@@CarolinaCycloneJames yes that does sound like a save issue. I always thought my minecraft games would save locally on my Xbox as it had plenty of room but it’s to do with cloud saves as well on the mojang end which is stupid for an infinite world game. Pc players do not have these issues.
