its funny because my true fountain pen era started right about when I getting into color in my stationery! if I had gotten into them about a year earlier I would probably have 5 black and silver pens and a couple white ones lol im so glad you like them!!! i think the different colors makes every pen unique and fun-- and the clear kakuno and tortoise 3776 cover me on the neutral end if Im digging that at the moment!!

I love my Platinum 3776 too although I have it in M nib. But omg it writes so well! I also have A LOT of TWSBIs and I love them all. For an entry level fp, they are top quality.

the twsbis were what I was hearing everyone saying the best intro pen was and once I got my first one I totally understood!! I’ve found myself leaning more towards the cartridge/converter filling mechanisms the more I use fountain pens but you can’t deny the twsbi capacity and I still love them!!

I love your collection! A nice mix of cheapies, mid-range, and 'expensive'. Btw, I totally get the sick feeling from spending so much on one pen. I felt that when I bought my Pelikan M400 White Tortoiseshell, but it's a keeper, and the jewel of my collection. I'll never spend that much on a pen ever again though, I've met my threshold 😅

yes I totally am with you- I’m glad I bought and have my celluloid platinum but I probably won’t ever spend that much again haha. how do you like your pelikan?! I was looking at them and they’re so beautiful but thought they might write a little too wet/thick for my handwriting but I’ve never tried one in person 🤩

@@nic.lol.eplans Yeah, you're right, the Pelikan nibs tend to write thicker than labeled. I knew that, so I chose a Fine when I usually prefer Mediums and it's perfect for me. Reminds me of my TWSBI Medium.

Nice pens. If jade is your thing, I am sure you must be familiar with the Platinum 3776 Celluloid Jade/Emerald. It looks like green marble. I have it in a broad, and I love it, and I always prefer the feel of celluloid over resin. The 3776 celluloid uses the same nib and the regular 3776, even though it is a more premium pen. Just letting you know, don't swap or pull out the nib and feed from the Eco. For some reason they are vulnerable to cracking at the section lip when reinserting the nib and feed. Letting you know just in case. Also, you have nice finger nails. I know in this day and age, that might be a super weird thing to say, but when you're looking at pen videos, and seeing people's hands and nails, it nice to see the finger nails look decent. Not much a problem with the ladies, but guys, come on, heard of nail clippers and a file. :) Anyways, good video.

I did see the jade celluloid at the shop I got my tortoise from and it was beautiful!! 🤩thank you for the tip about twsbi nibs! and thank you for the compliment on my nails- it actually means a lot to me bc I used to go to a salon regularly but recently started doing them myself so I’m glad to hear they look okay!!

You're the first person I've ever noticed that holds the pen 90 degrees to the baseline. I'm gonna try it and see what happens.

Ive tried to change my grip but my handwriting looks so bad lol. I only own really fine nibs so I haven’t noticed any issue with writing at that angle, but at the pen show I tried some broader nibs and had issues until I changed my grip to how you’re supposed to write. Not sure if it’s a me thing or if that’s true for a lot of people but thought I’d mention it! 😊
