Nicely done video buddy, i had a very similar collection a couple of years ago but sold most of them that i just didn't use, i wasn't even a collector haha, now i'm down to about 30 bottles that i really like and use quite often, can't beat a bit of chrome legend!!

Loving the collection... You need to try Nabeel's Arab Tradition... Very similar to Tuscan Leather but less dark... A great smelling cheapie that hardly anyone is talking about. It has great performance also... You seem to have similar tastes to me but loads more in your collection than in mine... My scent of the day is Armaf's CDNIM but loving Mugler's Ultra Zest also for this spring season... Always look forward to your Vids... Nice work...

I'd like to hear the difference between the current Brut (you have the European version from France which is different from the one made by Idelle Labs/Helen of Troy here in the states) and the original version by Faberge. I'm tempted to buy a new bottle of Obsession but my memories are so great when thinking of the original bottles I bought in the 1980's and 1990's. That was my main go to scent at the time. It was an incredible powerhouse fragrance that would last into the next day. The Tabac aftershave is very close to Tabac cologne in terms of scent. Naturally the cologne has longer longevity. However, the Tabac edt has a slightly different vibe and is much more powerful. I really like it alot. I also suggest adding Versace Man to your collection. It's very reasonably priced in the USA. Great collection. It must take you some time to pick your scent of the day in the morning! Just one thing - you need a bigger bottle of Azzaro Pour Homme - if just for show! Until I started watching KZbin, I never realized what a great (although sometimes expensive) hobby this is. I'm just sorry I didn't buy much, much more over the years, especially in the powerhouse days of men's fragrances. As an example. I bought Gucci Envy on a whim when it came out and still have plenty left. I'm amazed at what it's selling for now.

Thanks for the compliment. The history of Brut & Old Spice mirrors the rest of the fragrance business in that they were probably the first to be sold by their original companies and then reformulated to weaker versions. Brut was sold by Faberge to Unilever in Europe and Helen of Troy/Idelle Labs in the USA. In 1968, before they even sold Brut, Faberge came out with a weaker version called Brut 33 which many feel is what the European version is based upon. To compound the insult, both are now sold in plastic bottles in the USA! Old Spice was sold by Shulton to Proctor & Gamble. Proctor & Gamble licenses Old Spice around the world. In the USA, it's called "Classic" Old Spice and is sweeter than the original formula. I don't believe either the aftershave or the cologne has quite the longevity as the Shulton brand. The versions available in Europe is called Original Old Spice and is supposed to be a bit spicier but not as good as the Shulton version. There is a stronger Original Old Spice edt that's only made in Europe. P&G also licenses Old Spice for the India market and that's supposed to be the closest version to the old Shulton version. I recommend you try the Old Spice Musk aftershave from India. That's a really nice warm weather scent. There's also a Old Spice lime made in India. I think you would have also enjoyed *Brut Dominant* which is an aftershave that Brut discontinued 2 years ago. Some feels it's based on Fahrenheit, but to my nose it doesn't have the gasoline top note and is a bit sweeter. I think it's one of Brut's best ever scents and knowing that it was too good to be true, I picked up a few bottles (nicely bottled in glass which is becoming unusual for aftershaves in the USA). There's a few other artisan aftershave makers in the USA that I think you would find impressive, but I'll save that for another comment.

Indeed, I couldn't stand the tomato leaf in lacoste essential so I'm glad I got rid of it. I ended up keeping ck obession and I'm glad I did. It's definitely worth having in my collection. I only have about 60 frags but I plan to grow my collection with time :)
