I agree with this, but would like to put my two cents worth in that the McDonald’s shiftwork lied probably wouldn’t let someone off their shift to go help… Lots of people are willing but capitalism means that they have to stay at their job no matter what. Those pale green stripes showing up in the crop suggest to me a few possibilities - deep soil compaction from some previous operation on the soil when it was moist - a lack of nutrition issue from something like manure or slurry application - possible drainage issue eg blocked outfall / crushed main drain however they look to close together to be a whole group of laterals unless very shallow indeed. Whatever I think some serious digging is required and perhaps some soil sampling to get some answers. Loved Naeve's imaginary conversation between Cole and Rick!

Cooper, great job on the driveway. You have quite the skillset. Cole, you should have told Rick you'd be glad to help him, if he came and fixed the tire you've been waiting on. Nave, I loved the commentary. Farmers do talk a lot and so do construction workers. But at least farmers don't scratch themselves like construction guys seem to do. DC, maybe you coukd have the drone fly over the area where the yellow stripes are. I'd love to know what caused them.

Thank goodness! Most people in rural areas always watch for evidence of travelers on the road. That road is gravel, so there would be a cloud of dust if a car was coming, and the farmer would know to wait to pull out. Defensive driving times ten until the driveway can be moved, for sure!
