It has come to our attention that the KZbin TV app runs an ad a minute before offering the skip button. I've even read that some have had experienced several hour-long ads without a skip option! This is crazy! Unfortunately, we have no control over this. My best advice would be to share you phone or tablet screen with your tv and then stream it from there. That way you'll have the option to skip 15 second ads and not one minute plus ads. That or watch on a pc, smartphone, or tablet, or subscribe to KZbin premium (ultimately what YT is trying to get everyone to do). With that said we appreciate your views!

It is incredible how one, or two changes can extrapolate out into so many other areas. I guess that's why engineers spend so much time with pencils, protractors, calculators, and computer programs when they prototype these things, well before they go into production.
@MorganOtt-ne1qjСағат бұрын
Old engineer's used those tools, and they would get it right. New ones seem to think that a computer is always right, and they just put out crappy stuff that doesn't hold up.

Some good engineering by the Welkers on that drawbar.
@frontball27542 сағат бұрын
This might be a lot more work, but if you moved that PTO back a little more and put the hanger for the hitch behind it, along the same axis as the rear section pivot, you'd eliminate almost all of the binding. The issue is it would have to be a really big pivot to hold the tongue weight and the downward stress on the drawbar would be multiplied due to the distance between that pivot and the hitch pin point.

On the inside of the roller, cut a small groove with a threading bit on a boring bar, set at 4 threads per inch. This will allow the grease to spread throughout the inside of the roller. One pass at. 0.008” should be enough. Start and stop the cut 1/4 of an inch from each end.
@floridaguy113349 минут бұрын

Cat 4 drawbar height is 15 to 22 inches from the ground. You need at least 11 inches from the top of the drawbar to the center of the PTO shaft. Also 5 inches from the center of the PTO to the top of anything drawbar or support. This is clearance for the shaft.

Lego helps visualize problems. I was thinking putting a heim joint at the divider/chain box and bent a tube to meet the back end placement. The problems to overcome would be finding a joint big enough and how well the threads into the tube would hold up.

Can you make the end of the hitch that connects to the equipment, like the last foot to 18 in pivot, that way the main length of the drawbar stays level with the tractor and the end of the drawbar pivots with the trailer or equipment whatever is connected to it.

What would happen if you redesigned the front drawbar attachment point to be like a trailer hitch on a car or truck. This would allow the tractor frame to twist without putting in twisting moments in the drawbar. The aft attachment point could have rollers, wear plates etc. to keep everything aligned. It goes without saying that hitch ball would be 6 inches in diameter.
@terrydriver137512 минут бұрын
As much as i love watching this build i just want to drive that beast
@gerardzubrickas268523 минут бұрын
How about a heim joint for the front half. The compound angles wouldn’t matter maybe because the draw bar would articulate independently. The back half could still have a hole where it can move in and out.
@peterhejny36349 минут бұрын
Look at pintle hitch maybe a heavy ring to attach it to tractor instead of a pin.
@buddygray15663 минут бұрын
How about a big swivel bearing on the front of the draw bar where it attaches to the tractor. A swivel like the ones on a hydraulic ram on a bulldozer blade. Run the big pin through it and it will be able to tilt.
@craigsmith72732 сағат бұрын
Keep the draw bar straight though to the back weld to the cross bar and hinge the coupler at the back to the draw bar...

I think the height of the draw bar is approximately 20. You order a tractor with 50 inch tires or 38s they don’t move the draw bar the hitch of the ripper or what ever has adjustment to compensate

When you get some more oxy / acetylene it would be a big improvement heat wise to get what we call a pepper pot nozzle , maybe a 1-1.5 inch diameter, that will heat the drawbar very quick , if you haven’t already got one . 🤔👍 great interesting project . 🤗
