My friend from Nova Scotia and I visit the sheep and guardian dogs. The sheep are stripping all the leaves off of our multi-flora rose bushes and other invasive plants. It is a joy to see animals eating plants that are normally a nuisance and turning them into a food source.

Keeping the dog food cooler will help maintain the quality of the feed, too. The hotter it is, the faster the fats in the feed will go rancid.

Thanks for the video! I enjoy the interviews. Sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders. I’m going to plant some warm season cover crops today. Then, this fall and winter I will be planting my perennial pasture. Hopefully it will come up great after I jump start the soil with covers. Some of the cover crops I got free so I just have to pay for gas for my tractor.

The dog feeder could use some attention with a can of flat white primer spray paint; this will keep it cool in hot sunny weather. The dogs enjoy the shade. The Powerflex Retail Store Grand opening in Seymour Missouri July 12th and 13th sounds like a good opportunity to buy all your Ranch fencing needs with a 15% discount. Hope there are hotdogs, soda pop and Fritos. In Nova Scotia one might consider installing a Northern Saw-Whet Owl nest box to eat rodents which host ticks.
