I visited Korea about a decade ago and found a lot of Koreans on my flight. They say that a lot of Koreans come to Kota Kinabalu, especially to play golf. It was a lot cheaper to go to a foreign country just to play golf. I was so surprised to hear that, however, Korean money at that time was three times more than RM, so that could explain it.

Be carefull although in Malaysia not all food stall or restaurant halal.... Avoid Chinese and Indian stall except Chinese or Indian Muslim.. Also restaurant which have halal certificates ... If Malay insyaallah halal
