The project needed to be this length in order to explain it well. Very nice bag! Thank you!

I LOOOOOOOVE the longer video because it allows for everything to be well explained and clearly shown. I like how you include tips like, "make sure this strap is not twisted" and other types of mistakes one can easily make---especially as a beginner, but even after years of sewing!

Lovely bag. The pain of loss will always be with, just try to carry on with life but save a time to pray at the end of the day. This from someone who also lost a much loved brother and after many years I still take 10 mine each night to share my day with him. ❤

I just purchased a bag very similar to yours for a lot of money. Vivian, you can sell these for big bucks. Yours is very well made, with extra places to secure money, cards, phone, whatever. Your phone bag is perfect and the material you used is lovely. I think you’re a smart woman to come up with projects, patterns and a “how-to-assemble” ideas. Be well. The sun is shining here in the Seattle area today so I’m going outside to get some natural vitamin D. If it’s sunny in Boston, do the same for yourself. The warm sun on my face, signs of spring popping up with blossoms on trees, and some hearty flowers blooming gives me hope for our storm battered Earth. ❤

1st of all, I'd like to say you have been in my prayers 🙏 and my heart goes out to you. 2. Ive been looking for something like this because so many of my friends have had to throw their bags away at concerts/shows due to them being too big. 3. I LOVE that you use "inside out" as a verb. It makes he giggle every time. 4. Whenever I watch you, I think, "What the heck is she doing?" Then it all comes together beautifully at the end. Thank you so much, Vivian for giving us your time and sharing your knowledge 💙🧵🪡💛

I've been watching your channel since covid after I found your tutorial on fabric face coverings. It was the only design out of the 4 I tried that didn't fog my glasses. I love how you do your videos and how you talk to your audience aside from the instructions. Your attention to the details in the steps and explanations is perfect for all sewers. You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers with the passing of your brother. Sending you warm cyber hugs 🫂.

Hi Vivian! Happy Easter to you your family. I spent my Easter nursing a cold. To get my mind off of things, I decided to sew this project. For me…this was challenging. However, I persevered and kept my seam ripper close at hand and after most of the day I managed to create this beautiful pouch. So I THANK YOU for a great tutorial! Blessings to you! ❤

It would help me a lot, if your videos started with showing the finished product, so I could better relate the many pieces of fabric to the endproduct

I also think it would be helpful, when using white fabric and white interfacing to mark the right side with a washable fabric marker

I love this design! I worry about zippers. I have never sewed in a zipper. I bought the zipper foot for my machine but have not tried it. Hopefully soon I will get the courage to try it!!
@chrishubbard50737 ай бұрын
I used to talk myself out of sewing zippers and would ask my mom to do it. She is gone now so one day I said, OK Mom. I am going to do my own zippers like you did and they will be great. They now are. This bag is a good way to start as you are sewing flat material. Good luck

There are alot of great tutorial videos for sewing in zippers. Practice on scrap fabric, that way you dont have to worry about messing up on a project. I'm certain you'll surprise yourself 😀

That's nice! You could size it to fit a tablet on one side and a phone and other stuff on the other side. How much total fabric did you use for each color? That way when I decide to make this I have all the information. Healing from your brothers death will take awhile. Go your speed. I also don't mind how long your video is. I'm learning so much about sewing from you. You are a blessing! And I love hearing your kids in the background. Lol they are happy kids!
