I actually know the guy you bumped into in Amsterdam from when I painted, his name is Selwyn Senatori and he is a crazy talented artist who worked for a big coffee company amongst other things. All his paintings are very recognizable and he's obsessed by subjects like food, cycling competitions, Italy and old school gangsters. Definitely worth checking out!

The last time I've seen Selwyn must be a decade ago (makes me feel so old), and the funny thing is that his work, and him, just keep popping up. I moved to Norway a couple of years ago, and even now he just appears. His painting style is one of a kind, colorful and pure genius in it's simplicity.
