Thanks for your (unadulterated) initial review! My wife and I are looking at it for the texting. We have a daughter with Autism and Epilepsy (seizures) and many times one or the other of us can't have our phone on, we want the watch for getting immediate texts or each other's attention (via tapping) when it's hyper critical (medically), but our phone is tucked in a purse or left on a desk in another room! For us, I believe the cost will be worth it, the health and other apps will be a bonus.

Walker 13 I've tried the apple watch and it feels like the software is in beta version. Most of the apps (like instagram etc) are not native to the the new architecture of the watch so they have to load all the info from the phone, which makes them dead slow. Then all the inconsistencies Casey talks about. I really think that Steve Jobs wouldn't have allowed anything like this to go on the market. But since people buy them no matter what because, apple, than the marketing division pushes cause it's profit anyway and consumers act like a testing face (big save of money) win win then.

I think apple are smart in some ways but the bad points against this watch just proves what I think about apple. They over charge for things just because it's apple branded. I payed like 400 pounds for my custom built PC and it's more than twice as fast as any apple PC. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, both Casey and viewers.
