You being in DJ's reminded me of another great savings from last week. Adult Son and I stopped in at Myer in Marion, on our way to the European Car place last Tuesday. I always check the women's clothing clearance rack in Myer and found a very long blue winter dress from Basque for $19, from $159. You should check Savers for wraps/scarves. I've bought several ever so soft cashmere pashminas for $5 each

I also saved alot of money (and time) this past week but it was because I was forced to spend much more money. I inquired, in Adelaide, about the part for my European classic car. Car is considered classic by manufacturer because of it's age. The part was a few cents under $1100 if I ordered it through the Adelaide European car workshop. Only place in SA to get a new one. It would also take 5-6 months to get to Adelaide. A friend made more enquiries for me (to avoid the girl tax) and ordering the same part from Melbourne, from the same European supplier is $250 cheaper, and be here in 2-3 months. Nutz! And we know freight will not eat up the $250 savings
